I get it that he says a lot of things everyone else says, BUT that kinda means a LOT of people see the events and outcomes from different perspectives and are reaching the same conclusions.
Interesting take on what happens with real estate for renters, those with mortgages, and those whose mortgages are paid off.
And Matt is right that much of what he wrote about in the EFAD trilogy has come to pass, and he wrote those nearly 20 years ago. Yikers.
Always sobering to go back and read his short piece “When the music stops.” He’s not wrong. 9 meals to anarchy is a sad truism for cities.
