Trump and his endorsements suck (again)
FR ^ | May 4 | Me

Sorry but it has to be said. His endorsements suck once again. He's terrible at them.

He's supporting Mike Rogers the Bush-era Neocon in MI who is basically responsible for FISA and its very use against him when he was president.

He's supportive of Mike Johnson the RINO/Democrat Speaker and was said to have intervened last week to get that foreign aid package passed!

NOT HELPFUL DON ...

Why is he cosying up to these people?

“You’ve heard the old adage keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer, right?”

If that were true Trump would be supporting the radical democrat for senate!

Trump needs this same feedback to be forced upon him, while there’s still some time left! It’s correct to not stay silent on these things! Trump will listen.

How do you extrapolate that someone wants Democrats to win simply by stating the truth? If the House goes to Democrats, how do you envision Trump getting any worthwhile bills to sign? Executive orders only last as long as a presidential term does, unless the next president supports them.

During the American Revolution, about 1/4 of the colonials were patriots, 1/4 Tories, and 1/2 just wanted to be left alone to live their daily lives.

About 1/4 of America is the Trump base. About 1/4 of America is the Biden/Obama radical left and its useful idiots. About 1/2 of America wishes all the politicians would just leave them alone and let them live their daily lives.

We have to get more than half of the 1/2 who want to be left alone to vote for Trump and not for radical leftists, and given the ability for fraud it has to be a lot more than half. They will not be persuaded by any of our arguments, because otherwise they would be in the Trump base. But they might be persuaded that the radical leftists really are America haters and will never let them alone, and vote for us just to keep the left from getting worse. That is who Trump is campaigning to get support from, and if he has to deal with our SOBs in order to avoid America being run by the left’s SOBs, that’s politics.

Few things would be as satisfying as Donald Trump winning in November, and on January 21st we finally get to see him unchained.

He made mistakes, trusting in the wrong people during his previous administration.

Perhaps he's learned his lesson and will finally become the raging bull that his enemies claim he's going to be.

In the meantime, I'm mystified by his endorsements too. They're a bit disquieting. But for now, I trust the man.

He’s picking political allies when he gets re-elected. I hope he does a better job than picking his cabinet and advisors.

Did Mike Rodgers tip Trump and team off about the Alpha Bank scandal?

Does the FISA issue expose the evil people behind the scenes?

Does FISA auth stand to enflame more voters to civil rights violations by the ghestapo state leadership in the Congress, the same congress who keeps tipping their hand to show the American people exactly who they work for?

Every time we see Trump with “traitors” and backstabbers, like his old AG, we later find out they back him up on things we didn’t expect.

This period of history is going to be one with twists and turns.

Just ask Michael Avenatti or read his recent statements on Trump/Stormy Daniels frame job.

There sleepers being plucked from the shadows, being turned for the good, and patching holes in problems that most people didn’t know even existed.

Widen your view, the world is changing and it’s exposing all the right people in preparation for one of the cleanest elections we’ve had in 30 years, followed by Trump being back in office, and then the the MOAB of the American People will hit them.

Or maybe I’m just a good fiction writer that managed to ‘guess’ smolette was a hoax, Russiagate was a hoax, Classified docs thing was a hoax.

You have to understand the massive power and influence the international brotherhood of Corporations-for-Endless-War-And-bloodshed will leave no stone unturned to ensure Trump doesn’t make peace or hold anyone in the federal gov’t accountable.

In this case both the OP and you are true in what you say.

Our gut feelings are still our gut feelings. Regardless of what Trump knows or doesn’t know, more than we do.

So congrats, you’re both right. :)

Or Meijer the Impeacher and Globalist.

What a choice.

Amash the Libertarian fool and Impeacher.

Meijer the Impeacher and globalist.

Rogers the SwampRat and Deep State Surveillance Goon.

That is the problem Trump didnt build a network outside the Swamp so he’s relying on them or their recommendations for appointments.

That’s why you end up with people like John Bolton being in the administration

There are many of those

His actions allowed Mike Johnson to get away with his treachery. Trump hasn’t learned a damned thing. That being said, God help us if he doesn’t win.

It has nothing to do with politics. Trump endorses candidates when he knows they are going to win. It’s that simple.

Lord knows what his VP pick will be

I had hoped for Tulsi, the total outsider.

But I strongly suspect he will pick someone who has been in DC for decades.

We’ll see about that

I'll agree with the first part, however, McCarthy had to go. He was pitiful. We couldn't imagine getting anyone worse. Just as bad, perhaps, but it was absolutely the correct more to make. What you fail to see is that RINOs are nothing more than Democrats and both are what make up the Uni-party, which is a product of the Deep-State. Either we get control of our nation back, or this nation is gone.

Mike Rogers over Justin Amash, I'm with you there. But only slightly, because I'm not sure that either are a help, although Mike Rogers might be slightly better than Justin Amash.

You are dead wrong on McCarthy though BillyBoy. I tried hard to give Mike Johnson the benefit of the doubt, however, I no longer can stand firmly in his defense.

Here's why both Mike's give me pause for cause:

If Trump is reelected to the White House, I could see both voting with the Democrats to stop him from taking the presidency, because both of them are operationally stupid timid individuals who place party over the people's choice, and the party is not the Republican Party. That only exists within the Freedom Caucus. The party they will stand with is the Uni-party.

Amash voted to impeach Trump. That alone should disqualify him from any consideration even for a job cleaning portable toilets with a toothbrush.

If Amash was the GOP nominee for an office in my state or district, I’d write in Harvey Weinstein’s name before I ever vote for that @sshole.

Trump’s choices are limited because he is an outsider. That’s going to make it a bit of a dice roll in whom he can pick.

There are a few more tough votes coming up especially on spending. Be interesting to see what his recommendations are
