A man found with two apparent gunshot wounds has been uncooperative with deputies, saying only that he “fell on a stick,” according to the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded Saturday to reports of a man having been shot at the Leesville exit of US 460. They found a man lying next to a vehicle with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to his chest and upper shoulder. Deputies say he would not admit he was shot. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Monty Python enthusiast, no doubt.
I hate it when that happens.
Sounds like the homos who show up at the ER after having accidentally sat on a chess piece their child left in the bath tub...
But seriously, I think that if you’ve been shot in the chest, you might not have a complete awareness of your situation.
As they say in the ghetto.....
Snitches get Stitches.
Maybe not, but my guess is he’s already a snitch and was likely not supposed to survive his “stick wounds” in the first place.
In high school, a friend of mine’s mom worked ER at Tampa General. One evening a man came in needing something removed from his “nether region”. It was (drum roll) a small olive jar. I lie not....holy cow, right?
Or how about the baseball that somehow went up her 76 year old husbands...
that was at OUR hospital.
ER staff members make lists of things they find “up there.” I knew some of those employees, and the two memorable ones they mentioned were a D-cell Maglite and a softball.
Could be. I’m sure he wasn’t supposed to survive. Question I guess is whether he’s also a perp or just a victim.
Gunshot victim... on a steek!
Jeff Dunham HAS to use that for his routine. It’s much better than Jalepeno... on a steek!
Small, Large or Jumbo ?
Black or Green and if Green, with or without pimentos stuffed in them ?
In Alabama a man lost a bar fight. Doctors had to remove a cue ball from down there.
At Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center back in the day it was a potato and a glass jar
i couldn’t find the caliber of the stick in the article.
A while back I was in ER for a slightly worse than minor injury, and the cops had a rather “south of the border” looking dude in there. They and the medicos were treating him with kid gloves ... turned out he had keistered several rubbers full of cocaine, and they didn’t want any of them to rupture.
Criminals lie and lie a lot.
The first words of of their mouths are lies.
If they think there is a possibility that a lie will help them they lie.
They lie so much they might not even think they are lying.
