In a letter, dated 1/30/2018 just published on Truth Social signed by Stormy Daniels states, in part, the following:
"I am not denying this affair (with Trump) because I was paid hush money. I am denying this affair because it never happened".
“Trump is being prosecuted for falsely reporting the payment as a business expense, thereby creating a “false or forged business record.””
Well now I’m curious. If it’s not a ‘legitimate business expense’... then what term is Congress categorizing and using for their “shush money” paid through the secret $18+ million fund as?
“”When news first broke of the settlement account, Congress was accused of having a veritable #MeToo slush fund to secretly pay off victims of sexual harassment. Reports surfaced that then-Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.) negotiated a secret settlement with a female staffer who accused him of sexual misconduct, and the 88-year-old quickly resigned from Congress.””
This is so not new. This letter or its contents has been out for ages.
and it was a business expense...he paid Cohen for his legal work. Cohen made this so called “hush money” payment, not Trump.
You’re right, and as time ticks by, Cohen and Daniels more and more appear to have been in cahoots. For no other reason than to make money. They took advantage of Trump’s trust of Cohen, and robbed him. Total Judas move by Cohen.
The TRUE story is that, now DISGRACED and DISBARRED former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, is who actually had the affair
with porn star Stormy Daniels, paid her hush money, got her to sign an agreement.. then attempted to BILL his client Donald Trump
for the $130,000 dollar payment. Trump has DENIED again and again that he has EVER had an affair with Stormy Daniels...
and the hush money check was signed by Cohen, not Trump. And yes, that matters, because I am reading it was Cohen who had the affair with Stormy, and he didn’t want HIS wife to find out.
Pure fantasy.
Alvin’s case does not depend on facts so there is no way it can be affected by them. Rather the case us based on the elastic legal theory that somehow the American voter was defrauded when after the election Trump wrote “legal fees” in his books when paying his lawyer. Since the legal theory makes no rational sense, it is immune from being debunked. Its self debunking.
you’re the one that fantasizes that all this utter BULL#hit is true and it’s not.
why do you come here except to crap on conservatives like the typical libtard you are?
Trump is on tape discussing the entire thing before any payment is made.
Link?
Here’s the first one that came up. Plenty more available.

You can find others should this not suffice.
Total b******* you loser
lol.
You are setting yourself up for a major disappointment.
>>>>> Trump is being prosecuted for falsely reporting the payment as a business expense, thereby creating a “false or forged business record.”
You’re right, of course, and it frustrates me to no end when Freepers don’t seem to understand the difference. However, even that charge is bogus. How do they expect it to be reported? Do they expect a line item to say “Hush money to prostitute”? It was a business expenses. He reported it accurately. The term “business expense” is very broad.
Unless (and I’m not an accountant here) there is some technical legal definition for the term. But if you’re going to use the common man definition of business expense or legal expense, this would qualify.
Can you provide a source for this?
The only reference I can find is in the Wikipedia story:
Stormy Daniels–Donald Trump scandal
February 1, 2023: Cohen said he had given his cellphones to the DA's prosecutors, who wanted evidence of communications, including voice recordings, of Daniels's former lawyer Keith Davidson.
This came from a CNN article: Cohen says he handed over phones to Manhattan DA. However, that article does not say that the recordings are of Trump. The recordings, according to Cohen, are "Most recently, they asked for my cell phones because they want to be able to extract from it the voice recordings that I had had with Keith Davidson, former attorney to Stormy Daniels before Michael Avenatti, as well as a bunch of emails, text messages and so on...”
The article goes on to say that Cohen "also responded to the release of a video of a deposition Trump gave in August to the New York Attorney General’s office, in which he invoked his Fifth Amendment rights more than 400 times and declined to answer questions, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter."
The article does not say that Trump discussed payments to anyone.
Do you have information to back up your claim specifically to payments? All you said was "on tape discussing the entire thing" in response to payments, leaving the impression that Trump discussed the payments without you directly saying so.

We’ll compare notes on November 5th when you’re mentally deficient Alzheimer patient loses
Post 52 has a link to a cbs story, and there are a lot more there.
As far as I know, this was the only one released of many. No idea what’s on the other recordings, but we will probably find out starting next week.
It's not clear at all what "financing" is being discussed. This looks like a brief snippet of a conversation that can be made to sound like anything. Even CBS News is hedging.

This is a discussion about Trump and his upcoming trial, not Biden, who isn’t mine btw.
