I looked at your link. Did you miss the part at 35 seconds where they say "CBS News has not verified the recording's authenticity?"

It's not clear at all what "financing" is being discussed. This looks like a brief snippet of a conversation that can be made to sound like anything. Even CBS News is hedging.

I did hear the disclaimer.

This report was the morning after the tape was released to CNN, not to CBS, so therefore the disclaimer.

There are apparently dozens of tapes.

Trial starts next week and we will know more then.
