A study published in the Journal of the American Heart Association and funded by the National Institutes of Health found that those who smoke weed daily are at a significantly higher risk of suffering heart attack and stroke than those who don’t.
“We know that toxins are released when cannabis is burned, similar to those found in tobacco smoke,” said Abra Jeffers, a data analyst at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and former researcher at the Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education at the University of California, San Francisco, where the study was based.
“We’ve known for a long time that smoking tobacco is linked to heart disease, and this study is evidence that smoking cannabis appears to also be a risk factor for cardiovascular disease, which is the leading cause of death in the United States,” Jeffers’ statement continued. “Cannabis use could be an important, underappreciated source of heart disease.”

Wonder what happens when a pot smoker gets his/her covid vaccine shots?
I have three family members who have big problems with pot. One is a poster child for cannabis induced psychosis, truly going nutty at times.
There’s no such thing as a free ride.
I didn’t know that.
Jared Loughner, Holmes, and others.
All of them had friends saying “he was normal in high school, and then he started smoking pot heavily and he changed.”
Virtually identical comments over numerous shooters.

In the US alone, around 500 people (((DIE))) every year from Tylenol, roughly 2,600 get hospitalized.
I’m not worried much about this in reality.
A rational person does not use a .001% exception in an attempt to make a policy or rule. Other things I’m not very worried about, getting struck my a meteorite while driving my car, getting struck by lightning while drinking a Margarita on the beach... It happens!

You see this all the time. People that support abortion will use a 10 year old girl that was raped by an uncle and has some rare genetic disorder as their poster child in support of their cause: https://nypost.com/2017/07/24/10-year-old-victim-raped-by-uncle-fights-for-right-to-abortion/ These are not real arguments in that they are rare exceptions.
Pot, people put on masks and smoke it to the point of passing out, still inhaling even more with every breath after they are on the floor: https://www.facebook.com/Habitatsmokeshop/videos/every-wonder-what-its-like-to-hit-a-gas-mask-bong-stop-in-habitatsmoke-and-grab-/233192767241401/ (these girls don’t pass out, but people do it to that point). And do you know what happens? You wake up the next day very hungry. I won’t argue your point, there surely are some people that have a rare psychological condition or other health problem which may cause a bad outcome, but that is true for a roller-coaster or a water-slide too! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Sv5my3-klk
BTW, Tylenol is extremely safe, even though it does kill and hospitalize people every year.
My daughter’s neurologist for her TBI is adamant about her not smoking any marijuana ever.
My son’s neuro was only ok with marijuana if his current meds didn’t work (epilepsy). But he had patients who controlled their seizures with mj.
“My daughter says she can’t stop smoking it. She’s hooked.”
A close relative is going through the 12-step program for alcohol for the fourth time. She says she can’t stop drinking it. She’s hooked.
“Science et al. has become a cheap whore, no more than a seal of approval, a label stamped on every idea being pushed to the masses.”

I think bad unhealthy behavior should be awarded.....
As far as health is concerned, cannabis is a lot more unhealthy than tobacco.
That has been known for a very long time.
We need a war on marihuana on the line of war on tobacco.
I think that the real culprit is all of those Twinkies.
And what % increase in having a psychotic episode? Isn’t it funny how much homelessness has increased since the legalization of marijuana?
A nation on weed is a collapsed nation. Utter idiocy.
There are lots of nutters out there.
Not sure, but I would guess more women than men go nutty on a monthly time frame.
They are smarter then men, so they trust the science behind ssri inhibitors and hormonal control.
I fear a commercial drug supply chain breakdown far more than weeds
Dave’s not here, man.
Smoking anything isn’t good for you. Duh.
So eat it.
Brisket is delish. So are gummies.
That's what SHE said.
