Well pork day was yesterday….should have waited til then to pass Aa omnibus
On the home-front 81 degrees and sunny. I should be out playing in dirt but Luvie and I are going to get some sleep(maybe)
But just did some pork for son. Sandwich with ranch dressing on both slices of bread topped with Muenster cheese on both - put in toaster oven til cheese melted and bread toasted and then thick slice bacon. Had a medium precooked potato that i cubed n browned in bacon fat.
Made myself some poppers! How’s that for a non traditional Easter meal for the small household?

Progressive commentator Cenk Uygur, also firmly anti-Trump, had a similar view. “To me, putting up all the cash upfront before you appeal the case seems draconian for everyone, not just Trump,” Uygur said on his program The Young Turks. “But what if he wins the appeal? So you made him sell all of his properties to get the collateral, but then he can’t buy them back. … So when his lawyer says ‘irreparable harm,’ in this case, financially speaking, it would be irreparable harm.”

Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus, firmly in the liberal camp and firmly anti-Trump, expressed worries about the precedent the Trump case could set. From her column this week: “The essence of Trump’s argument on appeal is that the supposed harm he caused was minimal at best — all his lenders were repaid — and that the penalty levied against him was therefore wildly excessive. The conundrum is that the very size of the judgment, and the consequent size of the bond that Trump is required to post, might make him unable to appeal. Trump could pursue his case, but in the meantime, James would be entitled to seize and sell off the former president’s assets. That can’t be right. It would mean that the more outrageous and disproportionate a damages award is, the harder it is to appeal.”

Byron York: It’s all in a case that was suspiciously weak from the very beginning. James alleged that Trump overstated the values of his various properties for purposes of getting better terms for big real estate loans. One big problem in the case was that the banks involved, the alleged victims of Trump’s alleged fraud, testified that 1) they made the loans based on their own assessments of the properties, not Trump’s; 2) they were paid back on time and in full; 3) they made money on the loans; and 4) they would do business with Trump again. All that meant James’s case against Trump was uniquely unfair. ‘An Associated Press analysis of nearly 70 years of civil cases under [New York] law showed that such a penalty has only been imposed a dozen previous times,’ the Associated Press reported in January, ‘and Trump’s case stands apart in a significant way: It’s the only big business found that was threatened with a shutdown without a showing of obvious victims and major losses.’”

Judge Engoron and Letitia James should be forced to explain why he ruled that Mar-a-Lago was worth $18,000,000 when, in fact, it is worth from 50 to 100 times that amount. How did the Attorney General of the State of New York force this Corrupt Judge to do that in order to help her narrative - AND WHY?

Judge Engoron has refused to obey the decision of the Appellate Division relative to the Statute of Limitations. This is a confrontation between a Judge and those that rule above him - A very bad situation in which to place New York State and the Rule of Law! Engoron has disrespected the Appellate Division and its very clear and precise ruling. He should be made to do so, and at the same time, release the GAG ORDER. This is the 5th time in this case that he has been overturned, a record. His credibility, and that of Letitia James, has been shattered. We will abide by the decision of the Appellate Division, and post either a bond, equivalent securities, or cash. This also shows how ridiculous and outrageous Engoron’s original decision was at $450 Million. I DID NOTHING WRONG, AND NEW YORK SHOULD NEVER BE PUT IN A POSITION LIKE THIS AGAIN. BUSINESSES ARE FLEEING, VIOLENT CRIME IS FLOURISHING, AND IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THIS BE RESOLVED IN ITS TOTALITY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU!

Whittier, Alaska is accessible only by air or through a single-lane tunnel that stretches over two miles through neighboring Maynard Mountain. The town's weather conditions can be harsh during winter, making the Begich Towers a convenient and practical living solution for the residents.

I have never tried it with a Beef Tenderloin only Prime Rib. Then you start out for like (if I remember correctly) on really high heat for about 10-15 min. then turn it down for the remainder of the time per lb for rare, med rare, or done. Without getting my recipe out I don’t recall the exact times.

My Internet was down until 2:00p.m. then I was at my youngest daughters, in-laws, with all the great-grandkids. They looked for over a 100 eggs, plastic ones with candy in them. Had a delicious dinner of ham & chicken wings and LOTS of side dishes that everyone brought. As usual ate to much and feel miserable now.
My daughter gave a recitation on what EASTER meant. It had something to do with the master, servant, and the napkins. I will have to have her tell me again where that came from. Can’t remember if she said James or John. My memory doesn’t maintain names at all unless I use them everyday. :-(

Sounds like you had a great day with your family. I’m glad you did.
Natalie did the roast and it was so good. So tender. Yes, she had the heat up high and then turned down. The whole tenderloin (about 8 pounds) was done in about 45 minutes. Nice and rare in the middle section, thinner areas medium rare. It was so good.
So, every year I hide about 50 small chocolate eggs for the kids around MY house. It was getting a little boring, so this year I brought the eggs over to Natalie’s secretly, when I went over for dinner. Then I told the kids it was time for the egg hunt and they could head over to my place, but there were no eggs in the bathrooms or closets (to make it sound legit). I told them I worked really hard this year to make the eggs well hidden and much harder to find. So off they ran. Then I pulled out the eggs and told Natalie and Danielle to quickly hide them all over the place. Lol it took about 5 minutes for the kids to come back because they hadn’t found one egg - hahaha it was funny. They were so confused, then they started spotting the eggs and they were running around finding them for about 10 minutes.
It was a fun trick and saved Nanna the time and trouble of hiding all those eggs lol.
