These days, almost anything connected with Harvard is suspect. This article appears to be written by someone who practices real science. Much of the information presented in this article has been known for decades. It is nice that it is still presented as current information.

I sincerely doubt that bugs, tofu and soy can replace the amazing nutrients in meat.

Make mine a double bacon cheeseburger.

How can you eat your pudding if you don’t eat your meat?

We should put a time stamp on it. Let's say 2000. That was when Al Gore ran for President and Global Warming became a thing.

If I was to choose, it would be seafood every time.

Imagine being an Inuit along the arctic coast of the Alaska, Canada or Greenland. There are no bugs (except mosquitos), tofu or soy. But there are a lot of fish.

They seem to have survived quite a long time eating seafood.

These days, almost anything connected with Harvard is suspect.

The source is CNBC, so it's doubly suspect. It's funny how we're willing to believe them when we like what they say. Order me one of those bacon double cheeseburgers, too.

I wonder how he got this past the editors.

Burgers, stews, chili, beef stroganoff, lasagna, italian meatloaf, mexican lasagna...

All need meat. :)

Nutritional and metabolic psychiatry? Ridiculous.

Meat isn’t the problem, it’s the carbs, especially high-fructose corn syrup.

Agree, but is it prudent to let folks know that you’re from Harvard right now?

I agree 100% with the woman in the video. I’m very careful to avoid everything she says is harmful.

I’m very healthy and don’t miss anything she tells us to ditch. No salt. It’s bad for the heart. No sugar, no lots of things she doesn’t even mention.
