This happens on almost every article now. Wasn't always this way. I can get trashed as a conservative now just about anywhere I go. I don't need to get it on FR.

Especially after having to deal with out-of-town relatives on my wife's side visiting us. Who have clearly been completely suborned by the woke left. Big shock.

My wife doesn't want to accept that fact. These people even stopped celebrating Christmas. However, when she offered them The Epoch Times to read, the response she got was: "Oh, is this that RIGHT-WING rag"?

That was her son talking. Her own son. My stepson. Very successful young man with an adoring second wife. Ex-military he is. His son is also ex-military who now works for a large federal agency. But "resettles migrants" in his spare time.

They are breaking up families, it's part of the plan.

I'm convinced. It's happening as we speak. There'll be no forums left anywhere for any kind of dissent from the new orthodoxy.

Not even your own living room.

I hate to break this to you, but you don’t have too be some leftist to recognized the bias in articles and publications.

The idea that bias ONLY happens on the left is laughable.

Epoch Times, Newsmax, GateWay Pundit, are insanely right wing biased... The latter two, are honestly not even worth citing as sources, other than very very rare occasions, as their standards and accuracy are horrible. Epoch is decidedly better, but to say it isn’t right wing biased is living in denial.

Yes, CNN, MSNBC, and the major networks are all left wing biased, to differing degrees, and Fox News, which is right wing biased, is honestly more so GOP Establishment biased.

Bias is in everything, the key is to recognize it, and process information accordingly.

The pure reality is, that yellow journalism is nothing new, and that what is passed as “news” today, is really just entertainment and propaganda. The various outlets have discovered they make more money telling a particular segment things that confirm their own biases, rather than trying to tell (as best as possible) the unbiased truth.

I tell my segment what they want to hear, I get 2-3M viewers daily to tune in, so they can hear and see things that confirm their own world view. I actually try my best to tell the truth without bias, I’ll get 1M viewers a day if that.

So they have segmented out the market and pander to a particular segment, telling them what they want to hear.

That’s “news” today.

I imagine your beef with said poster revolves around the Russian war on Ukraine (see what I did here ?;most news reports it as simply "Ukraine" or "war in Ukraine" as if it were climate change or something).

It is hard to consider taking sides in the Russian war on Ukraine as a strong voice against the marxist machine. It's very sad, but Russia is the defacto aggressor and all its neighbors are nervous. President Trump thinks he will be able to stop the war.

I've been wanting to find a reason to repost a video from two years ago that shows the proliferation of common media stories across the local media landscape.

This video is about global corruption (I didn't have the desire to watch the whole thing), but there is a 2 minute segment right at the beginning that really opened my eyes to how controlled the local media stations are.

I used to believe everyone who said that local news was unbiased because it was mostly traffic and weather, sports and the local crime report. In between all of that, they insert the propaganda pieces that we never know is going out to all of the local affiliate stations like the Borg assimilating people.

Our local news outlets here in CT are totally unwatchable.

They can’t get out three words in a row without pushing an agenda.

During Covid it turned into high comedy—and the public was completely brainwashed—it was like visiting an alien landscape.
