TRUMP'S VP SELECTION: Please, Let It Be Ben!
1/14/2024 | Nikos1121

Posted on 01/15/2024 8:07:11 AM PST by nikos1121

AT a recent Town Hall, hosted by Fox, President Trump was asked who would be his Vice President.

He replied, that he already had someone in mind, but would not say at this time.

We've all seen the list, that includes inexplicably people like Nikki Haley, Desantis and Ramaswamy.

Another list has people with some credibility like Tulsi Gabbard, Bryan Donalds and a few others like Rand Paul and even Robert Kennedy Jr.

In my mind, there is only one choice.

PLEASE LET IT BE BEN CARSON.

I can't think anyone better.

Any other name that comes to mind will part of the swamp, not loyal to Trump, incompetent, narcissistic etc.

Ben Carson, along with a hundred other reasons, can change this white supremacy nonsense moniker that they've put on Trump immediately.

He can be a great ambassador for minorities. No one can doubt that.

He can deliver, like he did when President Trump put him in charge of vitalizing the inner cities, as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

Globally, he'd be great. Can you just imagine?!

Everywhere he'd go people, esp in this hemisphere and Africa will flock to him.

Ben Carson would be the kind of person, every young man and woman regardless of color would aspire to become.

I can think of a thousand other things, but you get my message.

Even the media would embrace him.

In short, Ben Carson would be Trump's Yang.

I like Mike Flynn. But the lefties have already taken him out once.

There are so many good choices for VP. I love the conservative congressman in Florida-Byron Donalds? Can’t think of his name right now. Kari Lake, Sara Sanders, Lee Zeldin, many that are on the opposite side of the deep state which Haley is part of.

Trump would not have won in 2016 without someone like Mike Pence on the ticket with him.

Exactly. The GOP-e picked out Pence and told Trump this was his pick. And now the same procedure must apply. Trump knows he cannot win without the Swamp Rats, so he will make concessions, pick Nikki, and win come next November.

You don’t get a damn thing boy. (or are you a ditsy broad?)

What brain fart did you have that led you to think I was another anti-Trump Desantis guy?

"a long-time political figure who can be managed by the GOP establishment."

Nikki Haley will not be Trump’s running mate. She’s too politically defective, and she’s a moron to boot.

Pence’s biggest value to Trump was that he bolstered Trump’s standing with evangelical Christian voters.

Nikki Haley doesn’t bring anything to a Trump ticket that he couldn’t get with someone else who doesn’t have her defects and baggage.

… he should run from anyone who fits that bill.

VP candidates are almost always party insiders. That’s because they are selected, not elected in a primary process.

Powell was a good man for many years, but as many do over the years, he ruined his good name, during the Obumble years. Totally agree with your. No to Powell.

I will never forget Ben Carson spouting MSM talking pints at the beginning of Covid nonsense that for me to not take the jab I would be guilty of killing grandmothers everywhere. He’s disqualified for me on that wise advice right there.

I like the guy but sadly he’s just to damn nice. We need someone who can not only fight in the mud but enjoys it.

“He always looks to be stoned.”

I have a neighbor (also a casual acquaintance as we went to college together) whose eyes are always bloodshot — and yes it’s because of that he looks stoned...

It’s a condition he got while (after graduating) interviewing in the Oil Bidness in Texas ( ‘80’s oil in Texas was on a big roll).

The hotel he was staying at caught fire and he died of smoke inhalation in his room on the 17Th floor — luckily a firefighter found him, gave him oxygen and CPR.

He did not take a job in the Oil Bidness...

I’m gonna call B.S. on that one. “The beginning of COVID nonsense” was in the spring of 2020. There wasn’t even a vaccine widely available until early 2021.

"VP candidates are almost always party insiders. That’s because they are selected, not elected in a primary process."

Perhaps it is just me, but I feel that Trump should bring someone who has not been tainted by the swamp of DC. He has to do in 4 years, what most administrations do in 8. He needs someone who is 100% on board with MAGA.
