Very sad indeed.
I wonder if there are even any actors alive who appeared on the honeymooners? Perhaps Measles Tommy or one of the children who may have appeared in an episode or two.
I even wonder how many people are alive who witnessed a filming of one of the classic 39 episodes.

I think Art Carney was on strike one season and Gleason wouldn’t do the Honeymooners without him.

I always thought so.
I wonder if that is why Betty was the looker on the Flintstones, who obviously were inspired by the Honeymooners.
RIP Joyce Randolph ❤️

Didn’t watch any filming but I’m sure I watched every episode. (when the TV was working)

One thing I noticed in The Honeymooners was Trixie's apartment compared to the Alice's apartment:
Trixie's looked modern, well-kept, painted, curtains, etc. Alice's was drab and sparse.

Ralph Kramden who was always yelling at his wife Alice That's a little unfair.
The show often (always?) ended with Ralph saying: BABY, YOU'RE THE GREATEST.

On the same subject, I was watching one of those true crime shows last night and over a twenty one year period between a trial and the re trial ALL 21 witnesses had died.. 1960 to 1981.

I actually do not recall watching them during their initial run, but I watched many episodes in reruns. There were many half-hour comedy shows in early TV.
Many of those early programs were filmed in front of live audiences. They usually would have 2 session per episode and select the better one for TV broadcasting.
The Honeymooners started as a segment on
The Jackie Gleason Show. It started as a short skit/segment and expanded due to its popularity.
We got our first TV (b/w) in 1956.

“The Honeymooners” is one of my all-time favorite TV shows. A classic. That, and “Amos ‘n’ Andy.” Tim Moore — who played The Kingfish — was brilliant: I doubt anyone could have played The Kingfish better than Tim Moore (the guy was comedic genius).
