The King Arthur Baking Company is hosting a competition for bakeries and the winner gets a lot of dough.
It’s called “Baking Pitchfest 2024.” Winners get mentorship from other bakers and financial support for their bakeries.
It sounds like a great opportunity for the pastry and pie crowd. But there’s just one catch. *No white people are allowed to enter the competition.*
Only bakeries that are owned by persons of color are allowed to participate.

Sorry, lady justice has left the building.!!
There’s a very popular brand of flour, commonly available in mainstream grocery stores, that doesn’t seem to have any diversity crap on its website.
I don’t want to name it ... I don’t want to accidentally loose the DIE hounds upon it.
in fact, now that I look ... most of the brands that I regularly see in mainstream grocery stores meet that description.
Meanwhile over at HGTV, any remodeling or redecorating competition program will see the win going to the most politically correct team. Is there are team consisting of two gay black men who used to be women? Well, there is your winner, no matter what they actually do.
“I’m running out of suppliers that are NOT “DEI” obsessed”
Try great river organic milling company. Based in Wisconsin. I buy 25# sacks of organic seven grain stone ground flour. (Cost about $50.) Then break it into 5# freezer bags and store in freezer. Flour stays good for one year. I find it superior to anything found in retail stores.
Baking with the flour is tricky. (Imagine bricks made of flour) Took me three loaves before figuring out the correct proportions and methodology.
Thank you.
I think King Arthur just pissed in his own flour bin.. :)
Yeah; I’m probably gonna go with some small brand Bread Flour, if I can find it locally, like Dakota Maid, etc.
Let them know. If you're getting catalogs from them, tell them to stop sending them. Or, continue to accept them but put them in file 13, so they are out the postage to deliver them.
HGTV = Highly Gay TV... 🤓
Good email.
Does one drop of “black” genes count?
Or do you need to follow the German model and have proof that none of the your parents or grandparents were evil white people?
Welcome to my list of banned companies. I have purchased from your company in stores, and from your catalogs. Never again. You are supposed to be selling baking products, not your political opinions.
You have alienated customers of EVERY color. You are now the racists. Feeling good about that?
I'd say take my name of your catalog list, but I'll be glad you are spending your advertising money on an ex-customer who will never spend another penny on your products.
Shame on you.
But that isn’t the purpose of the contest.
ha ha ha
“Go woke, go broke!”
LOL! Maybe they could call it the ‘Shaka Zulu Baking Company’.
Tried calling KAF, earlier, to give them more of my 2¢ ...
Guess what?
They’re CLOSED TODAY, for a company meeting.
Now, isn’t that interesting timing?
Bwahahahaha.
Thx for the feedback.
Very interesting.......betcha theyre getting bigtime backlash.
Todd asked that question, so I think she might not be able to compete in the contest!
Because clearly blacks are incapable of competing against whites.
My 14 year old son emailed them and asked if it was because they thought they couldn't win. He also asked if Liz Warren could compete and if a Hawaiian with red hair won't be able to compete. He also asked if a black who is 25% black is qualified.
My adopted son who is handicapped is asking him if a black who adopted into a white family is eligible to compete. He wants to know if they'll be a handicapped contest soon.
My daughters are sending them an email, too..
What would happen if there was ‘WDA’ (White Dating App) for white singles only..
Looks like they’ll be kneading more dough sooner than expected.
