Washington Huskies fans don't have much faith in beating No. 3 Texas in the Sugar Bowl to advance to the national championship.
Washington is the only College Football Playoff team that has yet to sell all of its national championship ticket allotment. How do we know this? The Huskies sent out an email reminding donors and season-ticket holders that tickets are still available.
Washington has a 20,000 ticket allotment for its fans if the Huskies reach hte national championship game. Fans can claim those tickets, which will be refunded if Washington fails to reach the national championship.
It's pretty sad that Washington has yet to sell the tickets. Any SEC or Big Ten team would sell the allotment in a matter of minutes.

I think Washington’s gonna get rolled.
The “we didn’t wanna be there” excuse making from them has been hilarious. That was THE worst loss (by margin of defeat) for a top 5 team in the history of college football.
Nope. Texas will not know what hit them. Their pass defense is horrible. Penix will destroy them.
As their fans said when I pointed out that my team was down a whole bunch of key starters for some of our previous bowl games....Tough! Those players are just QUITTERS. Its nobody else's fault that they had a bunch of Quitters who didn't care about the team. If a player is missing, the next man just has to step up. Its a team sport. No excuses.
Damn, I didn’t think you Mississippi State fans hated the Bammers much. I thought you saved it all for Ole Miss.
However, it's the Sidewalk fans who jumped off the Bammer bandwagon after Bear died, and jumped back on when Nick Saban arrived, that I mock and belittle.
1) Bama
2) Texas
T3) Georgia
T3) Michigan
Michigan had played 3 teams that were good enough to be in the next to last rankings and was undefeated. (Not going by what an opponent was ranked when Michigan played them, but how they ranked in the end.) Georgia also played 3 of those teams with just 1 loss: by 3 points to Bama. Texas played 4 of those teams with just 1 loss. Bama played a whopping 5 of those teams with just 1 loss.
Want to know why Washington and FSU were undefeated (before FSU's thunderfumping by Georgia)? Because they each played only 2 of the teams ranked in the end (Washington playing Oregon twice, though, so 3 games against final ranked teams). Call me unimpressed.
From a pure put up or shut up perspective against a tough strength of schedule, Bama and Texas stand out.
Roll Tide Roll
“There are Bammer Fans in Trailer Parks from Florence to Red Bay, AL to Columbus, MS that can’t even spell “Tuscaloosa”, but have velvet Bear Bryant portraits on the walls, and have been known to kill people when the Tide loses.”
and your point is?
Ohio State clearly was not one of the four best teams, judging from their game against Missouri.
It’s a long way from Washington to New Orleans
Texas beat Bama soundly in Tuscaloosa
My friends just look at the game and see who’s NOT playing. Too many of the best players are saving themselves for the pros. Why spend all that money to see a watered-down game? Offenses get fine-tuned over the season just to get patch-worked for the bowl. Like the NFL it’s big business. Top players can make big money now that the NCAA no longer has their foot on their necks. Need I say more? why not?
It’s not about the product. Just look at the DH in baseball-never meant to be. Now it’s universal. I quit watching but others are willing to fill the void. Female sideline reporters. Being hot has nothing to do with it. It’s their expertise right? Excrement.
Every female sideline reporter:
“I talked with Coach X at halftime, and he said, ‘We have to play better in the second half!’”
dfw-give her credit for being so inciteful.
Huskies fans have never traveled well to Bowl games other than the Rose bowl. As one, I have personally been to 3 Rose Bowls and the 85 Orange Bowl which had the same issue. There was a reason college football had regional bowl games, (Rose, Orange, Peach, Sugar, Cotton) so fans wouldn’t have to travel far to see their teams
My question to the CFP is why did they send Michigan to the Rose Bowl and Washington to the Sugar Bowl?
Because they didnt want to give Alabama a regional home game, so they gave Texas the home field advantage. Essentially setting up a Michigan - Texas championship game.
Nice try , but Washington played every one on their schedule and beat them. At the time of the games, several of those teams were ranked in the top 25 and they gave the Dawgs a run for their money.
Yeah it sucks the CFP left off an undefeated Florida State supposedly because of their QB situation, but they were undefeated. That basically caused the majority of starter to opt out of the game. Georgia would have most likely still one but not by 58 points.
The difference in the SEC title game was a missed UGA field goal and a fumble that resulted in a bama FG.
UGA lost by three.
Bama is gonna roll Michigan. My prediction: 42-17 bama.
Ha ha.
