Washington Huskies fans don't have much faith in beating No. 3 Texas in the Sugar Bowl to advance to the national championship.
Washington is the only College Football Playoff team that has yet to sell all of its national championship ticket allotment. How do we know this? The Huskies sent out an email reminding donors and season-ticket holders that tickets are still available.
Washington has a 20,000 ticket allotment for its fans if the Huskies reach hte national championship game. Fans can claim those tickets, which will be refunded if Washington fails to reach the national championship.
It's pretty sad that Washington has yet to sell the tickets. Any SEC or Big Ten team would sell the allotment in a matter of minutes.

Basically no one believed that either Washington or FSU would win out. But it is entirely believable that either Bama or GA could/can win the CFP.
Hook Em
I am going to speculate that it might because The University of Washington is in the far northwest part of the country and the cost of traveling to Houston for the game may be a bigger burden for their fans than Alabama and Texas. Michigan has a much larger fan base to begin with.
I suspect if the will, those tickets will get sold pretty quickly.
Washington IS (or soon will be) a Big Ten team.
Texas too.
Michigan, Alabama, Georgia and Ohio St were the four best teams.
In the entire history of the four team playoff they failed to select the four best teams one single time-no need to start now.
Washington will beat Texas. I'll be back after the game to rub it in.

Who in their right mind would follow a collegiate team beyond parents?...? seriously!
I notice Florida State fans are no longer complaining about their “undefeated” team not being invited to the CFP. Wonder why! 🤣
It is pretty obvious why Washington hasn’t sold out. Texas will win. the game. Washington doesn’t have as dedicated fan base as Texas. The last reason is it is farther away.
I hope all the former Pacific Athletic Conference teams fail in their new conferences. PAC is weaker than the others, but they were local. These teams sold their soul for money.
I concur, the “Dogs” will win. I, also, will be back on these boards to do a happy dance and to rub it in!
Go Huskies!
Good for you, stand by your team.
But more than likely facing Bama is next. RTR
Ohio State has already lost its bowl game. Not a top 4 team.
Me too!
They were down some 23 starters and 30 players overall.
From Washington. The problem is a lack of flights to the area. Alaska airlines normally does 2 flights / day. They are the “official sponsor” of the UW. There was a lot of public clamor for them to ramp up flights to the area. They were able to muster up 6 extra flights initially, then I think they got it up to 8. Which is still only ~2500 people. Locally it was frenetic to try and get people down there, but there was a bunch of barriers. The airport yesterday was said to be a huge sea of Purple and huge lines and chaos. UW normally travels very well, but it will likely - 30-40% UW fans . Go Dawgs!
“Washington has a 20,000 ticket allotment for its fans if the Huskies reach the national championship game.”
NOT the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. The championship game in Houston. The Huskies will destroy Texas, then we can talk about the tickets to the championship game.
There are Bammer Fans in Trailer Parks from Florence to Red Bay, AL to Columbus, MS that can’t even spell “Tuscaloosa”, but have velvet Bear Bryant portraits on the walls, and have been known to kill people when the Tide loses.
