Harvard University hosted graduation celebrations for certain identity groups in 2023 but excluded Jews.
The now-deleted "Affinity Celebrations for Graduates" page on Harvard's website boasts events for "Graduates with Disabilities," "Indigenous Graduates," "Latinx Graduates," "LGBTQ+ Graduates," "Arab Graduates," "Black Graduates," and more.
"Affinity celebrations are student-led, staff supported events that recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of graduates from historically marginalized communities," the web page stated. "These University-wide celebrations provide an opportunity for graduates to honor those who have helped them achieve their milestone while centering their cultural traditions and values."
According to the website, the celebrations "are made possible by the collaboration of the Office for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging; the DIB Leadership Council; the Council of Deans of Students; the Commencement Office; and students."
The web page was last accessible on June 26, according to an archived version of the site, and was deleted at some point afterward.
It's unclear if Harvard deleted the web page amid controversy over its president's testimony to Congress on antisemitism.
During the hearing on antisemitism, Harvard President Claudine Gay gave a non-answer when asked by Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., if calls for the genocide of Jews would violate their institution's policies on bullying and harassment.

Indeed.
Harvard is not a serious organization.
If people want to celebrate they are free to do so. They can invite whomever they want to their private celebration. I don’t know why the university has to be involved. Their involvement seems to be an endorsement of exclusion, not of inclusion.
Well, at least employers now know not to hire anyone with a degree from any one of the infamous Poison League Universities.
I worked myself through state college and grad school and so did all my kids - except one that had such good grades he got a full ride from Villa Nova law school. I can’t believe what some people pay for their kids’ college and weddings and such.
Then they boast about how much they paid as if it’s a badge of honor to pay way too much for something.
What a sick world.
So Whites were always excluded, which is okay.
But now that Jews are also excluded, that's a problem?
Why should I, as a white person, care how these "historically marginalized communities" arrange their pecking order?
Why? Because they knew the Jews would be doxxed and harrassed in the atmosphere they had let develop. To protect them, you see.
I’m glad you’re using the term commies. This should be pushed at every turn.
Sounds like Nazis to me
Harvard, like Congress, is no longer what it used to be.....
Communism destroys everything it comes in contact with.
Does Harvard offer a degree in Bigotry? They should to match the curriculum
“ Well, at least employers now know not to hire anyone with a degree from any one of the infamous Poison League Universities.”
I stopped hiring from the poison Ivy League years ago. There is no ROI.
Commies were not nice to Jews, neither.
Poison Ivy League Universities.

i think youve coined a new term.!
Did you Villanova Law School in Villanova, Pennsylvania?
Affinity groups were formed as safe spaces from white supremacy. Mixed in with whites the various identity groups would feel insignificant. So goes the theory. In reality they are dangerously Balkanizing America.
No, Mark Levin did. Wish I had come up with it, but I will continue to use the term. Poison Ivy describes them perfectly.
These were always just for people of certain groups, right? It wasn’t like Jews were explicitly excluded from any of them, right? Probably not from the LGBTQ or disabled graduations. It may be wrong to have such identity-based graduations, but is anti-Semitism really involved?
