I've gotten sick over the past week and have been taking oral doses of Ivermectin. Have read that taking it through a nebulizer is way more effective. But, I don't know the dosages. Can anyone help me on this?
I’m not a doctor and don’t play one on TV. Here’s a link to an article you may want to read:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8299187/
Good luck to you.
I never heard of that method, please don’t overdose due to conversion error or failing to account for the different absorption rate or something. I’m not a doctor and cannot properly advise
I did ivermectin pills when I got it. I got over it quickly but very possibly I would have anyway, no way to know. I also did horse paste in an earlier year as preventative
Interesting idea. I wonder how effective it would be to rub some of the horse gel inside the nostrils like we do with Vicks? I rub it on red bugs under the skin. Works great.
I recall a formula of sugol’s iodine mixed with distilled water and irrigating nostrils twice a day as a way to help with Covid symptoms.
We got the liquid farm bottle which goes a long ways, and I use it whenever I feel something might be coming on. Just used some last night infact. Had massive headache, runny nose, felt sick to stomach- Feel fine this am- it works plenty well enough for me in my experience
im not a doctor, this is not medical advice
only what i have done
50mg zinc
and 1 oz.fat ( i use 1 tablespoon of sour cream )
taken with my oral ivermectin paste.
without the zinc and fat the ivermectin doesnt work as well ive read.
I’ve read a bit about it. Lots of tests on rats. It seems it doesn’t work as well in a oral does as it does in a mist which goes directly to the lungs. If i’m readings these torturous studies correctly, the nebulizer doses are also quite a big smaller as the medicine goes directly to where it is needed. There must be alternate medicine sites, so I’ll keep looking.
Thanks very much to you all.
I’d be more inclined to use Respiratory Relief (can get at amazon)...
which is essentially coloidal silver in extremely tiny particle size.
I’ve used it whenever I develop an illness in the lungs, buy nebulizing.
Very effective.
thanks very much!
Thank you for reminding me of that. I got some Betadine nasal spray online from outside the US. It doesn’t have iodine in it but carragelose.
You should never apply any oil based product into nose or lungs; it can cause oil aspiration pneumonia. I don’t know if ivermectin paste is oil or water based.
not a physician, but never heard of that. wouldn’t do that myself. how would you get something solid nebulized?
it’s been a while (2 years since i sick with anything respiratory, supplements are great and never took any jab) so double check this, but i used liquid 3% OTC hydrogen peroxide, one drop of that in distilled water: (about 1 drop of that in 3 ml for mine) making it very dilute. it basically gives you the immediate effect of vit C according to my research. otherwise you have to take megadoses of VitC pills to get the same effect (i was doing at least 5000 mg a day or more, as much as i could well tolerate), which you can get OTC of course, but it does affect the digestive tract. there are sites online that detail all this with various treatments.
ivermectin was always oral at at least 20 mg or more (at my body weight) every 12 hrs, with any fat (avocado is good) or meal. hope that helps you.
anyway, both those worked very quickly, for me. i felt much better with even just a day of ivermectin, but you got to get the dose right. small doses don’t work. the minimum dose is something like 10 mg /100 lbs body weight as i recall. my frontline doctor even doubled it for me for the first doses, to knock the disease down quickly. very hard to overdose on ivermectin, contrary to Big Med misinformation.
also saying a prayer for your quick recovery, FRiend. our Savior, the Great Physician is the best medicine!
Go to Tennessee. Find pharmacist that sells ivermectin over the counter.
Lugol’s?
i strongly advise you not to attempt to put substances in your nebulizer that are not intended to be nebulized ... especially if you don’t know what your are doing ... nebulized substances are inhaled directly into the lungs, bypassing the gastrointestinal system and the portal vein to the liver ... you could easily give yourself pneumonia, lung inflammation or worse ...
btw, Ivermectin works just fine orally ...
You can make your own 1% Povidone Iodine nasal spray. Buy a 10% solution at your local drug store and dilute 10:1 with distilled water. I prefer the Betadine Povidone Iodine gargle/mouthwash, but it can be hard to find. The 10% solution is available everywhere.
How to Make Povidone Iodine 1% Nasal Spray. By Dr Frank Yap, M.D., December 01, 2023.
Efficacy of a Nasal Spray Containing Iota-Carrageenan in the Postexposure Prophylaxis of COVID-19 in Hospital Personnel Dedicated to Patients Care with COVID-19 Disease. Iota-Carrageenan (I-C) is a sulfate polysaccharide synthesized by red algae, with demonstrated antiviral activity and clinical efficacy as nasal spray in the treatment of common cold. In this pilot study a nasal spray with I-C showed significant efficacy in preventing COVID-19 in health care workers managing patients with COVID-19 disease.

That;s correct. You may even be the Freeper that told me this info back then. I mistakenly said Sugol Iodine and yes it was the Povidone 10%, and I did buy 4 bottles of that version. Made it with the distilled water but I goofed as I put it in a small clear mason jar nut after a couple of weeks the liquid turned clear, so not sure if it’s even usable once that occurs. Guess I should have bought some dark brown bottles.
I don’t know anything, but I would think that nebulizing a large portion of ivermectin carrier ( liquid) into a lung where there is reduced oxygen function is a great way to cause Foreign Body Pneumonia.
Like inhaling any oily substance, the lung clearance mechanisms would be ineffective. Nebulizing makes things aerosol that are not meant to be inhaled
Oral works great and is safer. .
