Doing things like economic sanctions without a declaration of war just doesn’t seem like the spirit or the letter of this nation’s Founders.

But he’s wrong. After all, we were not at war with Nazi Germany in 1940. However, we certainly would not have allowed them to use funds we had control over to buy enriched uranium.

Iran has been at war with us since 78. We are just too weak to declare war on them and do what needs to be done. Now people want to use that as an excuse to do nothing.
I am often supportive of Massie, but this is a Ron Paul level of ignorance and foolishness. Iran declared war on the USA in 1979 and to my knowledge has never rescinded that declaration.
