Neither the United States nor its space agency NASA have so far commented on the AI analysis that questioned the Moon Landing by the American astronauts.
[Google AI anslysis found that the U.S. Moon photos are fake, but thought images captured by Chines lunar rover are fine.]
Moscow: The analysis of some of the photos and images of the U.S. astronauts landing on the Moon using neural networks showed they are fake, Vladimir Putin was told at “Artificial Intelligence World Tour" in Moscow, and the Russian President found it interesting.
The video of the analysis result and conversation of the Russian President with the Data Research Department of Sberbank, Nikolai Gerasimhen, at the Moscow AI event is now viral.
“It (neural networks) thinks almost everything in this photo is fake”, Gerasimhen is heard explaining to Putin in the video shared by the Russian news agency, Sputnik, which is now being widely shared on different social media platforms.
At the same time the AI analysis did not find any fault with the photos captured by Chinese lunar rover.
“Meanwhile it (the AI analysis) raises no particular questions about this photo taken by a Chinese lunar rover”, Putin is told.
China's unmanned lunar mission named Chang’e is a series of lunar probes launched by the China National Space Administration starting with the launch of Chang’e 1 in October 2007.
“It believes this one is fake?” Putin is seen in the video first touching the wing of his nose and then asking after a brief pause while pointing at the Apollo 11 images displayed on a screen.
“Yes. Look this is red", Putin was told.
Sberbank President German Gref who is seen accompanying Putin in the video then said, "This is what Google’s neural network thinks, not our analysis…”

Thanks for first laugh of the day. Love that.
Anyone with a powerful enough earthbound telescope could look up at the moon through it and see the descent stages of the six LEMs, three rovers and the footprints of those 12 astronauts scattered around the American flags they planted and saluted. What’s not to believe?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH(gasp)A
Oh, by the way.
My in-laws lived directly across the street from Shuttle Commander Rick Husband (in Amarillo, TX) of STS-107. My wife knew the family when she was growing up. Rick was younger than she was.
That was the Shuttle that broke up on reentry killing all aboard.
This is stuff is real, not as seen on TV.
Well, we landed and took off from the moon without a superstructure - and did it all with computers no where near as powerful as ann iphone. What’s to doubt?
Where is the cat?
ALSO, the film used back then-even the expensive modified cameras that the astronauts used, were not nearly as sensitive as today’s digital cameras. We are spoiled today by just how good modern cameras are.
I was there for every second of the space program and followed it all in amazement.
+1
Einstein-
Computers are incredibly fast, accurate and stupid; humans are incredibly slow, inaccurate and brilliant; together they are powerful beyond imagination.
So you believe that all of the current space flights, and the International Space Station are all fakes?
The original Blackbird was designated the A-12 and made its first flight on April 30, 1962.

Nixon Bump!
It isn’t well known by the public, but the early planning was for 100+ Saturn V launches. That’s why they built multiple launch pads, and the largest building in the world, the two-bay VAB. They could crank out Saturn Vs in assembly line fashion, one on the launch pad, another 2 being prepared.
They also envisioned a manned Mars landing in 1985-1987, during the favorable window. What our “leaders” simply threw away is difficult to fathom sometimes. It’s only gotten worse.

No. No they can’t. There is a satellite orbiting the Moon called
Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter that HAS taken those pictures.
The Hubble Space Telescope can’t even get those pictures.
It they used Kodak cameras you might have a point.
They used modified Hasselblad Contex cameras for the lunar surface, as well as 16mm film cameras, and video feed.
This is one of my favorite YouTube videos from a filmmaker on precisely this angle. Lots of great information delivered in under 15 minutes.
Yeah. As if NASA would have even used those utter shyt Kodak cameras.... The worst in the world at that time.
It would’ve been neat to have “2001: A Space Odyssey” tech in 2001.
Instead we’re stuck with HAL9000….
