The holidays are a time of joy and merriment. They’re also a time to be in our feels, and sometimes that’s really, really depressing. We’re not going to get all sappy on you, but even car folks shed a tear from time to time. Usually it’s from banging our fingers against the inner wall of a steel fender, sometimes it’s from selling off that project you swore you’d never sell, and every so often it’s because of a commercial. You know, a real tear-jerker.
Chevrolet has chopped the proverbial onions right in front of us a number of times now, and today they’ve aired their 2023 A Holiday to Remember longform TV spot.

LOL!
I don’t doubt it...
I have to admit I was on the same wavelength as you, that I did think of the Granny Posse when I saw the ad, so cute......

I didn’t expect this...how wonderful.
That was a great one. Thanks for putting it up.
Not one of my favorite songs either, but it has less to do with “sunshine on my shoulders”, & more to do with “If I had a day that I could give you, I’d give to you the day just like today”
Very, very nice. Thanks for posting.
Very good
Nicely done
Dang, that was a good one.
LOL...I thought about that, too....how did they get up...from those sleds....the part we didn’t see 😂
Kind of like a band that doesn’t bother to play the songs from their new album, and just plays their old stuff.
Unfortunately, GM is an empty shell of the company that it used to be. I currently own my great aunt Barbera’s 1965 Buick Riviera. This car was designed and built when GM had their act together. I look at great GM cars like this one and wonder how they managed to screw up the company so badly.
Traditional families are always around at this time of the years. Publix has a great ad for the time of year. A daughter called her mom about a casserole, asking her mom the oven temperature and the ingredients, at the end of commercial, the husband said, “Didn’t she make it before?” and the mom just smiled, while they showed the recipe on the counter at the daughter’s house. Publix has great ads, better than Winn-Dixie’s two idiots.
Two cars I owned that I would like to own again….69 chevelle SS….(in 1977). And a 1967 Chevy half ton. (In 1982). I’m convinced that a car manufacturer who started making cars and trucks without computers in them could sell all they could make.
Had a Chevy Citation X-11 loaded. That was about the 250th off the line. Underrated car, if a deer didn't want to commit suicide, I'd still have it.
It’s good to get out of the house it gets rid of the cobwebs.
Love this!
Of course they didn’t show the end where someone would have to help them up from sitting on the sled 😂.
Chevrolet is GM is a failing company is doomed
Fixed it for them.
Hi Gran!
*HUG*
It only flashed for a second, and then showed some squidgy
looking stuff.
What was it supposed to be?
