"I’ve read that the guy who founded Buc-ee’s designed the bathrooms himself. What I like is there’s a wall between urinals so there’s good separation. And they’re covered with heavy ceramic tiles which blocks sound. And on top of that they crank up the music in the bathrooms which gives even more acoustical privacy, if that’s a term. Overall an excellent bathroom design that justifies driving an extra few miles to stop at But-ee’s rather than somewhere else." It seems to me that the attractiveness of Stuckys .. er .. Buck-ees depends on whether your more interested in input or output?

Beaver nuggets ... imagine cheetos, but flavored with maple, cinnamon, and caramel rather than cheese.

The masterminds who created Buc-ee’s considered inputs, outputs, and every other kind of ‘put’ that could possibly exist for interstate travelers in even the most hypothetical of universes.

Buc ees started about and hour and a half of where we live!
My sis lived about 2 blocks from the original Bucees....we used to get breakfast tacos there.
Fast forward to about 15 +/- years ago....and, the biggest Bucees (at the time) was built in Luling TX ... on our way to the lake!
Now....we have Buc ees ALL OVER SE/Central TX.
Which Buc ees have you visited?

You have apparently not ever been to a Buc-ees.
They have the best bathrooms in any public place and there are probably at least 40 or more. They are all immaculate.

Do you take your Big Rig through the drive through at McDonalds?
Maybe you like parking your Big Rig in your garage at home?
No? Then you realize the Buc-Cees is just like that.
Big Rigs have limits and Buc-Cees knows you are better served at truck stops.

They do not let trucks on the property, because, they see what truck drivers(some, not all) do to the truck stops, i.e. leaving their trash on the ground, everywhere, even though, there are trash cans 5ft away, using window cleaning wands to wash their trucks, peeing beside their trucks, instead of walking 50ft, to go inside., blocking traffic in the gas line/scale/parking area, etc. and they do not want the hassle.
If truck driver's would clean up their act, then they might consider it, in the future

Urbaniak Brothers Quality Meats in Erie, PA has Beef Jerky that's the best I've had that is for retail sale. The last time We got some it was $20.00/lb. You can get 1 piece or by the pound.
The Wife is from Erie and whenever anyone goes to visit there's always an empty cooler taken and filled up with supply of assorted items from Urbaniak's brought back to NC and there's always jerky in the order along with Ox Roast, Bone-in Ham sliced from the Deli and the awesome Bacon. They're always busy and around the Holidays when You go in the store the first thing you do is grab a Number from the Ticket Dispenser so you get in the Now Serving Queue, they're that busy.

Yep, that's exactly the point, you nailed it.
Not liking the prices of homes, the area is beautiful however. At least no more HELLINOIS income or property taxes, so there's that!

The Buckee’s in question is on the way west into Tennessee. It is located at I 40 Exit 407 that leads to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and the Great Smokey Mountains National Park
The diesel price is cheap. On a recent Saturday We decided to stop to top off the tank and get something to eat.
We spent 15 minutes just getting to where we could see the parking lot filed with waqll to wall cars and campers and....... busses.
The week before we stopped at a Buckee’s in Alabama and had the brisket sandwich. It was pretty good but seemed expensive.
The location in question is a money making machine
