Are EV's a scam?! Ford CEO just abandoned electric cars, leaving the entire auto industry SHOCKED and CONFUSED! Ford is losing nearly 36,000 dollars on each EV they built, and could now close their doors forever! Why?
Because customers are REJECTING Ford’s EVs! With nearly 92,000 EVs sitting unsold on dealer lots, scammy dealer markups to fool the middle class, and 35,000 vehicle recalls just a couple of weeks ago, Ford is in a huge crisis!
American cars all look alike for the most part. You used to be able to tell them all apart.
“If anything, Ford is airing out their problems so as to get a big juicy Gov’t Bail Out.”
LOL! Ford has 7 PE and pays a 6% dividend.
Not anywhere else in the news?
They were hoping to make up for it in volume?
The question isn’t what people want to drive, but rather whether the wishes of drivers will be strong enough to change the soon-to-be policy of our Fascist government in FORCING people to only buy EVs.
Ah the Ford Pinto. My mother had a powder blue Ford Pinto wagon. We were one of the lucky ones, no exploding. Friends down the street were not so lucky, theirs exploded into a ball of flames on the Ford lot at the exact moment they were trying to negotiate a trade in.
Typical. In 2009 GM fired all of their CAD designers. A couple years later they called a lot to offer them their jobs back.
Most of the ones I knew told GM to take a long walk on a short dock.
I got an Amazon package the other day that traveled most of the way by Amazon’s own motor carrier. I wondered if Bezos is a huge lefty, then why doesn’t he insist his own motor carriers use EV’s?
The answer is simple, he wants to profit, and the complete unreliability of an EV would cut severely into those profits. Packages would arrive late, transportation costs would soar out of this world and Amazon would go under, just like Ford might be doing.
Just about every scam the left tries fails sooner or later. Hopefully election fraud will be one of those that fail, and I mean real soon.

Amazon has partnered with Rivian to build EV carriers.
“Friends down the street were not so lucky, theirs exploded into a ball of flames on the Ford lot at the exact moment they were trying to negotiate a trade in.”
I think you are confused.
A really big piece of journalistic fraud, now mostly forgotten, was the “exploding Ford Pinto” reportage of the 1970s which, before it was exposed as fraud, spawned journalistic attacks on other car companies ( http://www.fordpinto.com/index.php?page=228 ). Man, they all climbed aboard! NBC, CBS, and ABC. Dateline. 60 Minutes. 20/20–all the major nooze shows were accusing auto manufacturers of selling cars they knew to be death-traps.
And they had exploding car video to prove it. Exploding car video obtained by installing incendiary devices in cars and blowing them up on purpose, sabotaging brakes, drilling holes in the transmission–all sorts of little journalistic tricks designed to get the kind of video the noozies wanted.Even the National Highway Traffic Safety Board chided the alleged journalists for basing their reports on, at best, “abnormal test conditions and unrealistic maneuvers.” And that was when they weren’t hiding rockets in the trunk.

Ford fairly recently layed off most of their ICE vehicle engineers.
Sounded stupid at the time.
Now it’s a totally retarded move.
Hopefully my currently on order, ‘24 ICE F-150 will still be built in the next 6 months.
It’s likely my last F-150 in any event.
Nope not confused. Really happened. One off? Who knows.
“Typical. In 2009 GM fired all of their CAD designers”
Really? CAD designers? The CAD people don’t design. They implement the designs pushed on them.
“Nope not confused. Really happened. One off? Who knows.”
Cars may burn but the don’t explode.
So I forgot their titles. Shoot me
Pintos had a definite crash design problem.
When rear ended, the gas filler tube would be pulled from the gas tank, spilling copious quantities of fuel to catch on fire.
A retro fitted longer tube minimized the issue.
“Typical. In 2009 GM fired all of their CAD designers. A couple years later they called a lot to offer them their jobs back.”
I doubt they fired all. GM was restructuring and also laid off over 20,000 hourly employees.
“Pintos had a definite crash design problem.”
True, but data shows they were actually safer than similar cars at the time.
Rolling Stone lied about the numbers. Media made fake videos.
My. I’m got my dad wrapped up in a Pinto fixer upper.
It’s a manual and my mom has had a knee replacement so that car may never be driven.
According to my designer friends, pretty much everyone was laid off.
