Low turnout favor Republicans?
I hope the KY election results will not turn into satire or comedy! ;-)
polls close at 7pm ET
Polls are still open in much of the state - and in overall the most conservative part of the state.
Let’s not pull a Florida 2000 and tell people they are all closed while there was still an hour to go and some many choose not to show up and vote thinking the polls were already closed.
Per the NY Times (as much as I despise them, their election night results coverage is as good as there is out there):
With 2% in:
Cameron 57%
Beshear 43%

If fragmentary early (absentee) results are anything to go by — and probably even if they aren’t — we’re heading for a repeat of 2019 in Kentucky.
Republicans lose the Governor race, win everything else.
Small number of absentee ballots reported so far show Cameron doing worse than the rest of Reps on the statewide ballot. Reps winning two thirds of absentee ballots except for Cameron who is losing slightly to Beshear.
Will the Governor’s race be the outlier?
Remember what Pelosi said about a glass of water beating a Republican in certain districts? It’s where the country is now, (D)ead.
Beshear will win easily. It won’t be a close one.
Looks like Mitch didn’t work hard enough to turn out MAGA.
Just heard on Fox News (from a local Kentucky reporter) that Beshear is doing very well in Republican areas. WTF?? Daniel Cameron seems to be an outstanding candidate….
Based on the election results so far for this evening, let me say, “We are so screwed”!
For some reason, I thought you were in Florida, not Kentucky. Guess I’m mistaken. Maybe I have you confused with a different FReeper.
Beshear is outdoing his performance from 2019.
Never stand in the way of a Kentuckian voting for a Democrat for governor. It’s as certain as the tides coming and going.
ABORTION issue is killing the GOP. Trump is right and they do not listen.
Race is called for Beshear, currently leading by 66,000+ votes with 86% of ballots counted.

Someone, please explain how Kentucky Republicans can vote in the GOP AG and SOS by 17%- 22% ... And then vote for the Democrat for governor? How does that work? pic.twitter.com/TigSxZUki5— The Gateway Pundit (@gatewaypundit) November 8, 2023
