All other statewide races GOP winning with well over 100k votes sometimes multiple 100s of ks of votes. Governor losing by 55k. With well over half the state reporting…
Open to be surprised but hard to see GOP winning the governorship with these numbers so far
KY will vote for a dead dog for governor if it’s a Democrat. Two Republican governors since 1970 and Republicans in every other state office, I can’t explain it. I liked Cameron but the Republican Party in Washington has been a disaster, that might have played a part in this loss..
GOP is a Party About Nothing.
Nothing to get excited about.
Trump is the only politician that gets people excited.
The Reps have veto proof majorities in both state houses. They can foil Beshear’s agenda regardless.

A big statement could have been made with a Cameron victory. If I was a black politician I wouldn’t count on the party having my back. It’s funny how the blacks don’t call out the GOP leadership on just that.
Names-you may ask. Think Lynn Swann going up against an experienced incumbent Rendell-GOP set him up to fail. Then there’s Georgia not giving Herman Cain the nod over some pale-face-senate would be good for him. The black SOS in Ohio Ken Blackwell. Solid candidate but black. Then there’s the Ok. house speaker the primary voters couldn’t put in over Lankford-another paleface. Herschel-saw it from the very start. Some of these candidates were opportunities. Others were sacrificial lambs just for show. We’re using them just like the rats.
And because women think he’s just dreamy.
So why do blacks vote over 90% for the Dems and Jews 75%? These are trge Dems two most loyal constituencies. Portraying Cameron’s defeat as the result of racist Reps is nonsense.

No as you can see from the results MAGA voted for Daniel but there was enough suburban white GOP types that don’t like a black guy to win. You saw this with Hershel Walker in Georgia 300,000 gop voters sat home for the runoff.

I think OP was saying GOPe is behind keeping Cameron down? Not the conservative vote? Because obviously Cameron was elevated to AG so it’s not about the color of his skin.
It’s about the GOPe (ahem RINO dems) and THEIR racism. Dem’rats and RINOs are racist scum.
And guess what. Adams, the SOS candidate? He enthusiastically believes Trump lost in 2020. And he won in a romp.
ABORTION issue is killing the GOP. Trump is right and they do not listen.
I meant more popular than the GOP with blacks, especially black men.
