Lol funny. No dog, but I was mildly surprised when she threw that one out.
She is so frugal. Back in the day when we paid bill by writing checks, she would photocopy checks so she didn’t have to order them from the bank. The bank told her they were no good, but she made them put them through, arguing that it’s legal to write a check on anything.
I have seen that before! Not in person, but I’ve seen that soccer field ? on the island. So nice.
Ha! Reminds me of the days I smoked chocolate flavored cigars. I miss them.

Norway does have a lot of beautiful little islands with beautiful bright homes. I took an e-tour of it....very pretty and extremely healthy looking place.
Later, gators. Off to the main house on the compound for pizza, wings and euchre night.

Raining all day here, and tomorrow as well. Dark. Windy. Cold. Very raw outside. Glad I don’t have to go anywhere...except now I have to go outside to get to the card game/pizza night.

I think dogs need to be acknowledged, since we have had lots of kittys posts!
My friend and I were shopping the other day and we noticed a dog sitting in the car next to ours. He was steadfastly focused on the door of the store. Waiting for his owner to come out, I find such devotion heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, not all of them get treated the way they should. But they still love their owners no matter what.

DOG is GOD Spelled Backwards
When I think of Forever, what do I see,
I think of only one thing that’s been given to me.
A love as pure as the dew dropped in the morn’,
A love so precious full of warmth and charm.
A love that makes me happy all day,
And rests with me at night after play.
A DOG is Love in it’s purest form.
Someone to warn us and keep us from harm.
With gentle wet nose and adoring eyes so wide,
Sweet loving licks and soft nuzzles to warm me inside.
With Love, I have been blessed in a wonderful way,
It’s hard to put into words what I wish to say.
When God created dogs He meant them to be,
The purest part of His love for you and me.
They were created in the image of His heart.
A reflection of His love.. a tangible symbol of His purest part.

That is beautiful Cotton. I wish I wasn’t this old as I would like to have another one to pet and love. I am not sure I could take care of it like it should be taken care of though.
sweet poem, kinda think we will see our pets in heaven, though theologically some would object, but that’s ok.
This is the town we lived in, had a large red house next to the water with a row of boat houses. Many of our relatives live there.
