Lololo even in your weakened, recovering, down and out state, you STILL beat me with the recipe!
“Spunky are you looking for dress shoes or athletic or support?”
Mostly just for casual walking. At home I am just wearing slippers.
I just looked up Hoka. Just LIKE ALL the other brands they ONLY start at a size 6. I HAVE tried 6 wides and with being longer it throws the arch off.
I have also done the arch machine at Walmart and have bought the Dr. Shool’s support # they say to get.
I loved them, back in the day.
FYI.....I make a killer prime rib dinner with Yorkshire puddings, mashed potatoes and gravy. Killer. Best. Yorkshires. Ever. Lol only to be outdone by my humility.
“Love your olives, by the way.”
yes, that’s a great screen name
I see you have many recipes to chose from
“Do you check in the children’s department for shoes.”
That is what I DID for the last pair I bought online. I was SO EXCITED to SEE they had my size. But ALAS! I COULDN’T get my SQUARE foot in the opening. Almost as wide as long. :-(
I’m terrible at name recollection even if I try the association angle
My kitchen project is to get some organization. As a prepper I have three times the product as built in cupboard space. My son unloads n just puts everything anywhere
But I found a couple things that made me smile. A cake mix for carrot cake and a container of cream cheese frosting😊😊😊😊😊
So now I’m going to kitchen n make it. I know not as good as scratch but that’s ok. It’s okay with soft fiet
Maybe I’ll check in later
Dolly, take care and hope you get well soon. :)
Oh, thank you so much for these links, ya’ll. I knew this thread’s posters would help me, you are all so kind. I’m not on Facebook, so these links will be very helpful!
For Christmas, my mom used to buy me a whole jar, which were eaten within the next couple of days. BEST PRESENT EVER!!
One time in college, my roomie and me boarded a bus into the “city”, where old Simon the Greek had a “Greek & Italian Delicatessan”. I said to my roommate, “For sure they will have my Kalamata olives”.
The little old lady had to open the floor door, climb down into the basement, retrieve a case (yes, I bought them by the case), and climb back up the stairs.
She says to me (in thick Greek accent): “So, you going to haf party!”
I said, “No, they are for me.”
She didn’t believe me.
My roommate had to tell her: “Believe me, they are all for her. I have to watch her eat them all!” (she didn’t care for them).
LOL. I was in heaven.
Thanks for posting.
I am taking this and posting on Facebook, but facebook will probably block it.
So disgusting, sp. All we can do is look forward to their reckoning day as they stand before the Lord.
(and keep praying, of course!)
what is a yorkshire pudding? is it meat flavored?
enjoy!!
They are now setting up the W H O as the health authority on all social media... THEY ARE REMOVING CONTENT AGRESSIVELY Subscribe to OFF GRID with DOUG & STACY
that’s great story. I love finding established Italian delicatessens, I can browse and look at every can or box for hours. the online ones aren’t near as much fun.
since we moved to Tennessee, I won’t be going to Molinari’s in Little Italy for a long time. If ever.
What a fun post, Kalamata!
It’s the little things in life that make us happy. You sound like a sweet person....well, maybe a little salty, but that’s a good combo!
If you ever get down to Pensacola, Joe Patti’s Seafood Market (huge) has part of their building set up with just those kinds of jars...As you say, it is so interesting to see all the different kinds of foods and the way they are packaged, in what oil, etc. I could spend hours there.
They are pricey, though. If you travel down the same street about a mile or two, there is a huge Greek (”International” foods store where they really do have everything. Absolute heaven!!
Salty, you say? Why, I’ll have you know if I buy my Kalamatas straight from the bins, I soak them in water to desalt them as much as possible, and then make my own brine.
LOL. Thank you for your kind words. I think you are sweet, too!
Hugs,
Mrs. K
