that’s great story. I love finding established Italian delicatessens, I can browse and look at every can or box for hours. the online ones aren’t near as much fun.

since we moved to Tennessee, I won’t be going to Molinari’s in Little Italy for a long time. If ever.

If you ever get down to Pensacola, Joe Patti’s Seafood Market (huge) has part of their building set up with just those kinds of jars...As you say, it is so interesting to see all the different kinds of foods and the way they are packaged, in what oil, etc. I could spend hours there.

They are pricey, though. If you travel down the same street about a mile or two, there is a huge Greek (”International” foods store where they really do have everything. Absolute heaven!!
