I knew you’d be adorable, just from your posts ;)
“plus I don’t think a Canadian should be...”
I notice you are using that Canadian thing to get out of a lot of things lately!
Lol shhhhhh. It’s been working just fine.
........
Yes! Now if only the corrupt MSM, DOJ, CIA etc don't get in the way ..... again. Need a miracle.
“Your feet are entirely too small to keep exit in line by foot-tapping”
I never knew the significance of the foot tapping. I thought it was just cuteness. But now I see exit lives in fear of being stepped on or kicked!
“Today it’s known for racism, antisemitism and urban decay.”
Hey! Don’t forget “diversity”! They’ve got lots of diversity! And multiculturalism! Hopefully they still have some fish ‘n chips.
Poor exit. I do feel for him lol.
So I had a fun time today in the barn. Audrey was showing me how she can ride her sheep now. She gets a fun ride by lying down on the sheep, face down, and puts a small bucket of corn on the floor in front of the sheep, just out of reach of its mouth. So she holds onto the little bucket while lying on the sheep, then the sheep keeps moving forward to try and eat the corn, which keeps moving ahead of it because Audrey has ahold of it, and she gets a nice ride around the barn.
Maybe you have to be there to see it lol. It was pretty funny.
We're on a runaway train
Rolling down the track
And where it's taking us to
Who knows where it's at
But if we hold together
We can make it back
For an English sunset
We want an English sunset.
I feel the rhythm of the earth
In my soul tonight
May it never fade away
And I've decided I can live
With humility
And the sad decay
'Cos that's the English way.
We keep the faith alive
In everything we do
And at the end of the road
We still keep coming through
And though it's sad and sorry
What else can we do
It's an English sunset
An English sunset.
I feel the rhythm of the earth
In my soul tonight
May it never fade away
And I've decided they can wait
For the requiem
We take it day by day
'Cos that's the English way
I saw the English sunset.
---"English Sunset," written by Justin Hayward for the Moody Blues, 1999
Not as majestic as Rudyard Kipling's poem, "Recessional," but more attuned to modern tastes.
Post #3128. Right in your wheelhouse.
Beautiful, Publius.
My mother got a beautiful, very high quality magazine for years, called This England. The beautiful pics, the thatched roofs, the breath-taking English gardens, the lanes, the cobblestone......I poured over that magazine for hours as a child.
We have gardens on the farm here which put me in mind of the English gardens.....but really, no comparison. I’d hate to see what England looks like today. So sad.
At least I’m doing Cornish game hens for Thanksgiving. It’s enough for me and my housemate.
Listening now. I used to love Moody Blues. Tuesday Afternoon.

There may actually be over a million Spanish patriots protesting today in Madrid against the socialist coup
I’ve never seen anything like this
Media can’t hide it anymore

Wow. That’s quite the gathering. Thanks for posting. Feeling ok?
Every year, from Advent to New Years, I listen to every Moody Blues disk from “Days of Future Passed” (1967) to “Strange Times” (1999) to evaluate my life. (I avoid “Octave” (1978) because it’s a real stinker with only one decent song.)
“I’m sorry for not putting in an lol when needed.”
I saw an “lol” at the end of that joke you made Judy.
You ARE correct. They Should let EVERYONE know what they are up to and what their intensions are for the future of the Train.
I’ll be careful to keep my Size 12’s away from your Size 5-1/2’s.
Do you check in the children’s department for shoes.
My SIL buys her shoes there.
