Many, many years ago we had a bug zapper you hung outside. That was my husband and my entertainment. Sitting out on the patio in the evening watching them get ZAPPED. We FINALLY realized it was the light in the zapper that WAS attracting them to the patio. Unpluged it and never had bugs coming to the patio again. :-)
I can’t imagine the fruit fly problem you are having. I have had fruit flies on occasion when I have had ripened fruit sitting for awhile, but once I remove the fruit they were gone. Could there be something outside that is attracting them to your place?

Though fighing now it’s a lull compared to what will soon happen...I had to back away from my screen it was so overwhelming...it’s 8:30 there and I understand this is the most intensive day fighting theres been. Even the host has to back off....

I have found that is what happens a LOT of time in X/Twitter -Tic-Toc-Truth Social excerpts. That is why I try to find and go to the ORIGINAL source.
Sheva news just reported Shifa Hospital and another hospital are completely surrounded now with tanks....the goal is to get underneath the hospital to Hamas’s headquarters in those tunnels. .....Shifa Hospital has extensive accomodations an high tech ‘city’ beneath it.
