As expressed in a comment and somewhat revised here, the premise behind the typical justificatory arguments for abortion (“respecting individual autonomy and the right to make decisions about one's own body,” “negative consequences on public health,” “the freedom to choose what's best for them”) is that the unborn at any time of abortion is not a human person, even though it will be rather quickly very manifest to be one indeed.
Even if someone you invited into your car or house secretly brings a child with them without your consent, then you simply do not have the right to exterminate that life, which is not a lethal threat to you. In some states, you cannot even shoot suspected burglars unless they manifestly endanger lives, much less a lost vulnerable child who finds a way into your house since you left the door open.
And even more unjustifiable is to kill a child resulting from your choice to engage in a behavior which most naturally produces offspring.
And 98% of abortions are due to reasons other than rape, incest:

So in order to justify the “pro-choice” position - which is denying the subject of extermination any choice in the matter, and is contrary to the normal course of nature - then one must deny that what is inside the womb is a human person (unless pro-choice promoters are willing to be classed as murderers, which they are).
And thus the pro anti-infant choice promoter must justify their basis for determining that.
Will it be the ability to function on its own, though it rather shortly will be able to? If so, then you had best not be laid up for a while if needing life-sustaining support.
And of course, most aged in nursing homes could thus be turned into sources of protein.
Will it be based upon location, meaning outside the womb killing the infant would be murder, but before that it is open game?
Or will the unborn human life be valued at least as much as protected migratory birds are, for due to the procreating nature of the egg of a protected migratory bird and the value placed upon it, then crushing the life of such is outlawed.
The fact is that, as a 1.6 birth rate testifies, children overall are increasingly not desired nor seen as needed, or at least not if they require much sacrifice, while typically spoiling the one or maybe two children parents have on average, and with children being often replaced by pets, which are seen as more worthy of care and cost.
Meanwhile, fornication costs the country greatly.
Biblically, and as a Christian, you either live a celibate, continent life in devotion and service to God and to others, (1 Corinthians 7:32–34) or you prayerfully marry an eligible spouse of the opposite sex, for life. And together, in joint devotion to God and His word, you have all the children God will give you, with temperance being the only birth control. (Genesis 1:28; Psalms 127:3; Psalms 128:3–5; 1 Corinthians 9:25)
And in which stable family the children usually have a few siblings, with whom, as with parents, they can learn to share, communicate, resolve conflicts, and delay gratification, and overcome difficulties, thus better preparing them for life in this world.
And for service in which God will reward in the next, by His grace, for those who effectually believe on the Lord of all, in addition to salvation which is a pure gift, on God/Christ’s expense, by His sinless shed blood, and to His glory.
DNA? Biology? Do you not know that (according to progressive aggressors, human life as well as the sex thereof is based upon how the subject feels, at least at the moment.
Since many leftists are atheists, I developed a nonreligious way of talking about abortion. I have some pictures of my nieces at 6 months old, 3 months old, and just a day old. As I show each picture, I ask if we can abort her. Of course, they scoff at it. Eventually I get to the day old picture, asking if we can ‘get rid of this person, this life.’ I then ask, so if this person is a life today, what about the day before, the week before, a month before? When does she become a nonperson? They do not have an answer. Some of them get the point. The radicals are rabid killers and could care less.
And just how can you fail to see the connection btwn decline of traditional and Biblical values and the election of proabortion prohomosexual, proIslamic pols? What ideological/religious class has overwhelmingly voted Republican the most in the past few decades? You do not think their pro-life, values are not related to this? All that you voluntarily choose to do is a result of what you truly believe, at least at the moment.
The fact is you’re not going to reason with a person like her because she has already decided that it’s patriarchal and old fashioned to expect women to be modest and chaste in their relationships.
She does not not see the value in a woman who respects herself enough to keep herself clean and pure. She sees that as being a goody two shoes, a sissy, a fraidy cat, a nothing. She’s sees that as hopelessly laughable and weak. It takes a lot of strength to keep yourself modest these days,
This Amy person sees power and victory in sleeping around and she blames God for making her body able to conceive a child. She never asked to be able to able to conceive, it’s not her fault so leave her alone in her sleeping around and aborting recreational activities.
I’d bet she’s covered in tattoos and piercings, too.
The best you can do if you feel like it is to pray for her and the millions and millions of other women who have been so deceived by the lies of the left that their power is in showing off their bodies and acting like whores instead of their real power being in keeping themselves wholesome and rocking the cradles that will rule the world.

Every state voted for legalizing abortion when the issue came up on a referendum even in red states.
I cannot say that of her, but I think I recall that she has seen some negative experiences of unwanted, uncared for and abused children, but which does not justify literally throwing out the baby with the bath water.

Behavior is a result of perspective, it’s all perspective. IMO, abortion is a smaller detail of a bigger issue, so my response is not as scientifically direct.
There are 2 kinds of people. The first perceive they live in a bright world, and because of that environment they believe, have faith and trust people. These people have no question about the future and they have no problem doing everything they can to make sure babies live, no matter the circumstance.
The other kind perceive they live in a dark world. As a result, they fear, they doubt and have a terrible need to control others. Existing in a dark world is their excuse to participate in omnicide.
The world is not dark. The future is not bleak. Tomorrow will be a good day.

Well then that settles it doesn't it? If all the states vote to kill Jews, or at least affirm homosexual marriage, then you just ignore that as an issue. Then, in future spiritual and moral declension, when gender dysphoria and transitioning is affirmed by a majority then just ignore that as an issue. Then when a social credit system is affirmed by a majority then you just ignore that as an issue. Rather, support for abortion is a result of spiritual and moral declension, and if you give up on a most basic value then you will continue to try to fill other holes in the dike.
When they came for the unborn, I said nothing because I was already born. When they came for and traditional marriage/anti-LGBTQ+ supporters, I said nothing because I did not see how that affected me as a conservative SWM (despite its cost$).
When they came for the evangelicals and all social conservatives, I said nothing because I was only a agnostic fiscal conservative who oppressed excessive government spending.
When they came for all who would not pledge their life and fortune to the government upon whom all are to depend, then there was no one left to speak for me.

The vast increase in suicides is related to spiritual declension of living Christian faith, and smaller families, plus video games. Death is deceivingly promoted as relief, and end of trouble, versus self-murder being by rational persons being the beginning of the far worse "trouble."
The Christian of Biblical evangelical type faith has a purpose in this life, wherein on the horizontal plane, flowing from the vertical relationship with God, the believer can pray to make a positive difference for time and for eternity in the hearts and lives of people that God brings him into contact with, by the grace of God and to His praise.
