My three favorites, "I Love Lucy". "Star Trek", and "Lost in Space", with a special mention to "Green Acres"
Newlyweds
National embarrassment
For a vcr - color tv - microwave oven
Arnold would take out Commander and then bite Brandon. Arnold would claim Mr. Ziffel ordered him to take out the person with oatmeal for brains..
The Marshal - 1995 (ABC)
Jericho - 2006-07 (CBS)
Friday Night Lights - 2006-07 (NBC)
24 - (Fox)
Secret Service - 1992-93 (NBC)
Bonanza had a really good run.
My recollection is mostly enjoying MASH. I havent gone back to re-watch it in many years. I am curious what about the aging makes you say that.
The Voice of Firestone, which featured classical music, especially vocalists, began as a radio program and was on TV from 1949 to 1959. It’s a safe bet that no one else on this thread will list this show.
Even though I haven’t watched a full MASH episode in forty some years, I probably can still remember the dialogue by heart.
Sitcoms: I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith, Golden Girls, Frasier, Modern Family
Drama: The Twilight Zone, The Waltons,The X-Files, Enlightened, American Crime (not American Crime Story), Prime Suspect (UK)
Variety/Game show: What’s my Line?, Only Connect (UK), Jeopardy! (Trebek years), So You Think You Can Dance?
Honorable mention: Murder She Wrote, Downton Abbey, The Mandalorian, 24, The Office (US), The Honeymooners, Succession, Man from U.N.C.L.E.,
Keep in mind I’m a millennial and gay. Some of these shows have leftist politics that I don’t agree with or excuse in any fashion. And obviously I’ve not watched as much television as many here.
Most anything pre-2000.
The 20th Century was an hour-long documentary on current events and recent history that started in the late 1950s and continued until around 1965. It was replaced in 1966 by The 21st Century, which focused on emerging technology and evolving social trends.
Best documentary series ever, “Connections”.
Nowhere Man, 24, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica (Reimagined), Dean Martin Roasts.
How did I leave off Star Trek, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, a number of cartoons... Should’ve read the thread first!
NYPD Blue
The Closer
Magnum PI
Frasier
The Timw Tunnel? Ridiculous show.
Read this entire list and;
.
‘Sing Along With Mitch!’
‘Bozo the Clown’
‘Queen For a Day’
Best War Documentary Series: “The World At War”
