In the wake of The New York Times’ false reporting , claiming the Israel Defense Forces bombed a hospital in Gaza, a report which was later totally debunked, X, formerly known as Twitter, removed the Times’ verification badge.
The Times ran an article on October 17 that trumpeted, “Israeli Strike Kills Hundreds in Hospital, Palestinians Say.” The New York Times and CNN were also caught using images from different incidents that showed buildings that had been completely destroyed.
Footage from ground level showed that none of the buildings were destroyed and that there were no impact craters from an aerial bomb.
Three days after the murderous Hamas attack, the Times, which has a history of anti-Israel reporting, changed a story, initially calling the murderers of Hamas “terrorists,” then changing that to “gunmen.”
In a story titled, “Hamas Leaves Trail of Terror in Israel,” the Times initially wrote, “As Israeli soldiers regain control of areas near Gaza that came under attack, they are finding evidence seen in videos and photos and confirmed by witness accounts of the massacre of civilians by Hamas terrorists.” Later, the Times changed the word “terrorists” to “gunmen.”
In the mid-twentieth century, the Times buried the Holocaust so it didn’t make the front pages, as described in “Buried by the Times: The Holocaust and America’s Most Important Newspaper.” In April 2019, the paper published a cartoon depicting former President Trump as a blind man wearing a skullcap while being led by Netanyahu, who was depicted as a dog on a leash with a Star of David collar.

“Israeli Strike Kills Hundreds in Hospital, Palestinians Say”
Well technically it is accurate, that was what the Palestinians said.
WOW - way to go Musk!
Sweet!
The even put a picture of a destroyed building implying it was the hospital up with the article
The media fomented violence against jews with their false reporting, several people died as a result. They should be prosecuted
It was gold
I used to use old NYT papers in my canary cage but quit doing it since it was traumatizing the poor bird.
Happiness.
I believe NYT had a gold check mark which indicated highest reliability. Not any more.
And 51 Pinocchios.
As a side note, Washington Post still has a Pulitzer Prize it won for all its excellent and detailed reporting of how Trump used a secret server at Alphabank to communicate with Putin, how Trump hosted Russian agents at his office, and how Trump paid hookers to pee on Obama’s bed.
THAT is the level of corruption of US state-run media.
Finally some good news and accountability that’s in short supply these daus.
The Times also buried the Stalin Purges.
There’s a good movie on that.
Old screenshot unless you sign in.
NYT has been flagged as a purveyor of fake news. Maybe Elon should flag them as "State Run Media" or "Democrat Regime Owned and Operated".
Photos of mothers wiping soot off kids faces look staged.
Hamas bomb malfunctioned and landed in the parking lot, but it looks like they trotted out their standard manufactured images.
I remember one how the dead body fell off the stretcher and got back on.
The NYT has been doing this forever. They can’t get away with it like they used to. At least until the Forces of Evil take down Musk.
