A New York City public school math teacher has come under fire for sharing his staunch, anti-Israel views and even sharing a photo of a Hamas paraglider on Facebook along with his support of Palestine.
Mohammad Jehad Ahmad, a math teacher at Gotham Tech High School in Queens, shared the paraglider-image on his Facebook page over the weekend.
He had already slammed NYC's public schools chancellor David Banks for condemning Hamas' attack against Israel on October 7th, and tweeted that Israel was a 'terror state' that upholds white supremacy.
It remains unclear if the city's Department of Education has disciplined him in any way, or whether it intends to allow him to keep his role.
The Department did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com's inquiries on Monday.
Ahmad has defended his remarks and posts fastidiously, mocking Jews who have deemed them offensive.
'How can Jews feel safe in Mohammad’s classroom?' asked Justin Sprio, a New York City school social worker.

This math teacher, Mohammad Jehad Ahmad, reflects the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood’s most famous ideologue, Sayyid Qutb. Qutb argued that Islam’s crisis could be reversed only if “true” Muslims Sedition is inciting revolt or violence against a lawful authority to destroy or overthrow it., emulating the ways of the Prophet Muhammad, worked to replace existing governments in the Muslim world with strictly Islamic regimes. Accordingly, followers (i.e. Ahmad) of Qutb desire the overthrow of their current governments (America) and declare armed jihad against non-Muslim states (America). It is important to underline that this step is often viewed as “defensive jihad,” an interpretation which has broad acceptance among many Muslims. This logic has been be used to justify attacks in Spain (which was ruled by Muslims for several hundred years) and any other Western countries that are deemed to be waging a war against Islam, either militarily or culturally.
It is time to investigate if Ahmad is working for defensive jihad and the overthrow of our current government. That should place him under arrest for sedition. Sedition is inciting revolt or violence against a lawful authority to destroy or overthrow it. The parachute photo represents that action.
As a naturalized citizen, my position is that for any non-citizen to be supporting terrorism or State identified terrorist organizations they should be deported - after due process showing their clear support.
We can’t just allow people to stay in the country that do not align with us. I don’t believe that is a free speech issue.
