The couple has donated to crises in the past.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are donating to yet another cause.

The couple donated $1 million to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Friday “to help children in Israel and Gaza,” a source confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. They have four children and are adamant about sending financial aid to causes that are important to them.

In the past, Lively and Reynolds matched up to $1 million in donations that were sent to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees after Russia invaded Ukraine, as well as $500,000 to Indigenous-focused safe water charity Water First Education & Training Inc. They also donated another $1 million split between Feeding America and Food Banks Canada, following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

David Ellison's Skydance Media Donates $1M to Support Humanitarian Relief Amid Israel Crisis More recently, they donated $1 million to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s financial assistance program for performers facing economic hardship as the actors strike continues.

On Oct. 7, the day of the Hamas terrorist attacks, the ICRC sent a truck of medical supplies to a hospital in Gaza, including body bags and stretchers. The organization is assessing the damage to sewage and water treatments, and trying to locate and gain access to the people who are being held hostage in order to establish contact with their families and medically treat them, per its website.

Lively and Reynolds are the first celebrities to publicly provide financial aid to Israel and Gaza as the Israel-Hamas War rages on and the death toll continues to climb. On Saturday morning, Israel’s military announced it was preparing for the “next stages of the war” against Hamas, potentially including “strikes from the air, sea and land” and “significant ground operations,” according to CNN.

Several celebrities have spoken out in support of the innocent victims of the war, including Jennifer Garner, Adam Sandler, Yara Shahidi, Kerry Washington and Martha Stewart.

Travis Kelce is trying to follow in the footsteps of Kobe and Ryan Reynolds. He has invested in Casa Azul Tequila Soda.

He has Taylor Swift being seen with a can of it.

The guy behind this drink is same one who did Body Armour, NOZ and Core.

So potential for big payout. But it hasnt been disclosed his buy in percentage.

And the Salvation Army has gone woke as well. They used to be who I would donate through, but no more.

When my brother was injured in a tornado 30 years ago, the red cross did zip for him. The Salvation Army helped him with food and diapers for his youngest. I hadn’t heard that the Salvation Army had gone woke; that’s a shame.

The HAMAS leadership will surely distribute that money to children and their needs... No... They won’t. What they want is children to shield them against attack... That’s the only use they have for children.

I donate all my unwanted items to Goodwill. There are several private foundations in our area, but Goodwill is the most convenient. They’ve probably always been woke, but I know they provide jobs for mentally and physically disabled people. SA used to be Christian based, and I suppose they are still considered so, but, let’s face it -— as the older generation fades away, a lot of younger people just don’t have the same values. At all. It’s disheartening, but a sign of the end times. And since we raised them, we have to accept some blame, though kids from the 70’s and 80’s, many times, still stand up straight.

For clothing and housewares donations, I’ve found a local charity that helps those with substance abuse addictions. They run 3-4 thrift stores, and I go out of my way and actually drive past a Goodwill to donate to them.

“[The Salvation Army...used to be who I would donate through, but no more.”

Right. And now I’m done with Doctors without Borders too.

I donated to them when there was that terrible Tsunami at Christmas time. In Thailand I think it was, too lazy to google.

But, anyway, it was a Muslim country and I figured the Salvation Army probably did not have a big presence there so gave to DWB. And I was pleased because they sent me one additional request for donations, but then stopped.

But recently I donated to them through my job for the earthquake in Turkey. My kid chipped in with me so we gave $100.

And now they won’t leave me alone. Finally got them to stop calling.

I’ll never give them another cent. I am immune to the hard sell.

Just going to give to Magen David Adom in the current situation, probably will do Samaritan’s Purse going forward.

In those circles it is now being called “Ryan Reynolds type money” when celebs are looking for deals. It is hard to turn it into big bucks. Reynolds has a knack for it. Clooney did it with his tequila. Kobe did it with Body Armour. Diddy tried to do it with Ciroc and that has turned into a disaster with lawsuits.

Kelce trying to do it with this Azul drink. Now that he has Taylor Swift on his side for a little while it may start to really take off since she is willing to be seen with a can of it. Interestingly, Reynolds is good friends with Swift..so there are all kinds of connections taking place for deals.

btw, with this crazy movie thing going on where kids are acting like they are really at a concert...someone brought a huge cutout of Kelce and was waving it around..

Kelce gets a cut of all NFL shirts bought with his name on it so Swifties are helping bankroll him. I read players get 57 percent of the profit from the jerseys.

I have no doubt Ryan Reynolds is in the background of all of this trying to wheel and deal.
