The LA Times is really out here reporting on the racism of bird segregation in Los Angeles. I'm not kidding.

wealthier, and typically whiter, areas attract a larger and more diverse population of birds… So ... the whiter areas have more diversity. And ... if you see more diversity ... that means more racism ...

Crows are ecumenical. We get gigantic murders of racist BLACK crows. We need crow anti-racism.

Pigeons are naturally cliff-dwellers. Maybe they like the tall buildings. We have them nesting on all the apartment balconies here every year, and throughout the day there are long lines of them sitting on high-rise roofs.

It seems like every institution has turned its back on Science, which could very easily explain why the various birds live where they choose to live.

Oh yeah, they’ll nest right on a 4 inch concrete ledge outside your window. They are not picky.

My wife puts out birdseed and as a result we get all kinds of birds, Cardinals, Blue Jays, Mockingbirds, Finches, Sparrows, Wrens, Doves and many others I can’t name. Yes we get crows and other blackbirds as well.
So if you put out free stuff, you get more diversity.................

Gotta tear down talented successful people any way they can because they themself are lazy, low IQ and entitled.
Birds aren’t stupid. Haters gotta hate.

wealthier, and typically whiter, So White people are better at managing their wealth and taking care of their property.
You need to do better, black people.
Take care of your OWN business.

In my experience they aren’t the smartest birds as to where they nest. But I’ve had three pet pigeons, and except for one (who despised me) they’re very sweet birds.

I noticed in Dallas that the Asian (East Dallas) area had no stray cats or dogs.
I guess the stray dogs and cats are racist. Or delicious.

My mom loves birds. She especially loves brightly colored bird. Not surprising that the Baltimore Oriole is one of her favorites. When they moved into their new neighborhood she was told that Baltimore Orioles were not seen in this area. But she put out her feeder anyway. None the first year, a pair the second year and a bunch of them every since.
Perhaps if you put out the food they will come?

Many people used to have lofts for racing pigeons on the roofs of tall NYC buildings. I don’t know how many, now; it doesn’t seem as popular a sport as it used to be.
