The US is in the midst of an “out of control” STD epidemic, with cases of syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia on the rise nationwide.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says gonorrhea cases spiked by 28% across the country in 2021, while total syphilis cases soared by a staggering 74%.
However, not all American areas are experiencing the same rates of infection, with a new data breakdown by US News & World Report revealing the 10 states with the highest sexually transmitted disease rates. The publication compiled the list after looking at cumulative cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis per 100,000 residents — and it’s not good news for those living in the South.

Could be, I wonder if you could cross reference Covid infection and vaccine rates with the increase in STDs.

So 5% of the population is responsible for 36% of infections.
Also note...in 2013 the CDC said that gay males represented less than 2% of the population...I wonder what happened?

For fairness, we are going to have to inject certain segments of the population with these diseases to balance the distributions. It’s the new normal.

Basically Alaska, South Dakota, and New Mexico are the only top 10 STD states that aren't top 12 black states, with New Mexico being the #2 Hispanic state. Coincidence? Perhaps. It still wouldn't explain Alaska and South Dakota, unless someone can look up if those states rate high in disco halls.
