Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said Thursday on CNN’s “The Source” that several Republicans were “embarrassed and humiliated” by how weak the case against President Joe Biden is in the impeachment inquiry hearing earlier that day.
Raskin said, “It demonstrated to the whole country that there really is no evidence at all supporting the idea of impeaching President Biden.”
He continued, “We saw a meltdown on the Republican side of the aisle, where the Republican members were fleeing the committee room in droves, embarrassed and humiliated by what was going on.”
Raskin added, “I don’t see them moving forward right now because you’ve got something like 15 or 20 Republicans at least who are not going along with it.”
Collins said, “Do you think they’ll second-guess it?”
Raskin said, “I know there was a lot of consternation and alarm on the Republican side to see how weak the case was.”
Collins said, “You heard that directly from Republicans?”
Raskin said, “Oh, directly on the floor. In fact several Republicans were saying to me that the right wing is now saying that Kevin McCarthy actually set it up to be a failure because he didn’t want to proceed with impeachment. They couldn’t believe that such a disaster would just happen by accident. I think that attributes a lot more organization and foresight to Kevin.”

We’ll see what the bank records look like. Unless,or course,some Osama Obama appointee rules that the House committee can’t see them.,thus starting a two year long court battle.
The investigators may be blocked from investigating those bank records because you can’t see things during an on-going investigation.
My question is, “Will they get Biden’s tax records?” Because they got Trump’s tax records and that set a precedent.
And if Biden’s tax forms don’t list any of the money he received through his Shell Corporations, that would be tax fraud.

Unlike the democrat party that voted almost unanimously to impeach Trump, the republican party has no such cohesion or conviction. The uni-party, RINO and globalist members of the republican party will ensure that Biden is never impeached.
False expectations. It’s a inquiry to determine if an impeachment is warranted or further investigation necessary. It’s not an impeachment any more than a grand jury is an actual trial.
Jamie Raskin (D-MD) needs to name names - otherwise we’ll see him as a two bit liar like President Sniffer talking about CornPop...

I know that’s not true. You know that’s not true. Frankly, they know it’s not true as well, but they’ll keep saying it repeatedly, hoping to convince the public that there is no evidence. Besides the sworn testimony, bank records, emails, phone calls, videos and photos, text messages, and White House visitor logs we already know about, new evidence released this week further undermines the “no evidence” narrative.
According to text messages obtained by the House Ways and Means Committee, Joe Biden personally requested a meeting with a Chinese oil executive, Ye Jianming, whose company had paid millions of dollars in consulting fees to Hunter Biden.
In an August 27, 2017, WhatsApp message to CEFC director Gongwen Dong, Hunter Biden mentioned that his uncle’s “brother” would be in New York City and wanted to meet with Ye.
“My uncle will be here with his BROTHER who would like to say hello to the Chairman,” Hunter Biden said in a text message to Dong. “So please give me location and time. Jim’s BROTHER if he is coming just wants to say hello he will not be stopping for lunch.”
Separate texts shared from Hunter’s former business partner Tony Bobulinski show that the Bidens were explicitly instructed not to mention Joe Biden’s involvement in business deals in writing.
The democRATs sure have been captializing on Steve Bannon’s critique of the inquiry.
