NiV can be detected in animal fecal samples so I assume the live virus also exists in humans. And it can be spread by body fluids including saliva. But it doesn’t spread rapidly even in densely populated countries like India and Bangladesh.
Global forces already at work to do a “gain of function” on this new fun virus known as NiV.
If it spreads all over the world we can call it the “new international version.”
Releasing it in India is one way of deflecting blame, isn’t it?
