Oh, how fun, Gran!
I love that churches are doing this, now. So much safer...and, the kids still get to dress up and get their treats. Ours combines this with a fall festival.
I drove through a few nearby subdivisions, the other day, on my way to my sis’ house. Nice homes...I was shocked at some of the ‘decorations’ ... very evil/demonic.....who would want their kids to even see that carp???

Just turned on the TV to learn 22 shot and killed in Lewiston, Maine.
Happened in a bowling alley called Spare Time and a restaurant.
Person of interest may have police scanner.
Shooter is Robert Card, a nut job National Guard Reservist.

Just heartbreaking....sickening.
