This was the world premier recording of this 1969 symphony and was recorded in Moscow in 1970. Transfer from the original Angel stereo LP SR-40147 by Bob Varney.

I saw Daniel Lewis (of the USC faculty) conduct the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra in Shostakovich #14 about 40 to 45 years ago. It was sung in English. The song "The Suicide" was absolutely hair-raising. (I had hair then.)

All I’m saying is if Mike Johnson’s 1st act as Speaker is to open impeachment proceedings against Biden, Garland, Mayorkas, or Wray, he’ll be insanely popular with GOP voters

Releasing 40,000+ hours of J6 tapes so we can expose Federal agent involvement would be a big boost too
