Matty really did a good job of spelling out the putridity of McCarthy and the McCarthyites.
I like that they took down the Speaker sign with McCarthy’s name on it.

Hubby has been working on sprinkler problems again also.
Thought he had it fixed, but when he got back from dropping dog off at the dog beauty shop, there was another leak.
A dog’s haircut has been raised to $55.00, plus tip.
It is either a cute clean dog or food for us. LOL

We use a mobile groomer. Does great work, but, charges an arm and a leg.
Not the pup’s, thankfully.
We’re supposed to get rain later/tomorrow. Maybe that’ll cool our temps down.

Don’t know why Gaetz has his skirt up over his head about Emmers/McCarthy situation. One would think he’d be happy McCarthy scuttled one of the RINO-y-est RINOs to ever RINO down the halls of congress. Poor Matty is letting his personal animus get in the way of his credibility.
McConnell will always have a place in my heart for two reasons: he kept the odious Merrick Garland off the Supreme Court, and he leveled the playing field for R’s in the judiciary. Other than that, meh.

Significant that we are deep into the Speaker vote and no defections. This is unlike previous Speaker votes to this point. Party line vote

UPDATE: UPDATE: We reported earlier on this filing - the court has given the applicant two weeks to correct the document to conform to court requirements. This is a ‘pro se’ applicant. Our understanding is an emergency writ of mandamus will have to be ruled upon.
We were aware of the ‘refiling’ requirement at the time of filing this story.
This Writ of Mandamus (Application) is something Justice Thomas can rule on independently for dismissal, or he can forward it to the whole of the Supreme Court.
The applicant is asking that Florida’s 2022 General Election (with a 2020 option) be set aside and held anew. There is also room for the 2020 election cycle to be set aside as well, since the evidence shows the same uncertified and uncertifiable equipment was used in both election cycles.
According to the applicant, the same evidence proves that the whole of the elections throughout the country were vulnerable to the same fraud. The question would then be - does this allow Justice Thomas to forward to the whole of the Supreme Court, to set aside the results of the entire country for both the 2020 and the 2022 election cycles? Or, could he rule on an injunction pending review of the entire court?
The 11th Circuit also covers Georgia.
