Hubby has made our tube do that, a few times 😏

“Now, this vet is recommending a cleaning (under anesthesia), for the rest. Any thoughts on this procedure?”
I have had several dogs and they all got their teeth cleaned under anesthesia. Never was a problem. They will be groggy for awhile afterwards. If their teeth get bad and you don’t have them taken care of it can go into a heart condition.

My pup had to have teeth extracted last year.
Doc cleaned them when he was under.
Two years ago.
He is 12 now.

I know you’ve already gotten several answers but I think you need mine :-)
Cooper has an appointment for cleaning the week after thanksgiving. This will be his second. Yorkies have notoriously bad teeth so if that’s not too bad at 12 years old. I was really nervous for him with the first one, but vets have been doing anesthesia often, I’m sure it’s not their first one! I just worry about my fur kids.
He was fine. I was a mess.
