I’ve been reading on X that McCarthy is planning to put himself up again for speaker. I don’t know if it’s true, but if that’s the plan, it would sure explain the holdouts. I can only imagine what he’s promised them. I’ll see if I can find a link.

The White House confirmed that it had accidentally revealed the identities of several U.S. special forces members for the sake of posting a photograph on Instagram with President Joe Biden.
“As soon as this was brought to our attention, we immediately deleted the photo,” read a statement from the White House. “We regret the error and any issues this may have caused.”
