It wasn’t clear that he took her deposit or not.
Wells Fargo stole $20,000 from my oldest daughter and they never were able to get it back.
Wells Fargo has a shady reputation.

1) The Hitchhiker’s Guide To Where We Stand With A Speaker Vote Today
The House meets at noon et today. And if there is a vote for Speaker, it would begin around 1 pm et.
However…
2) It is far from clear there will be a third ballot for Speaker today. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) bled support on the second ballot yesterday. Fox is told he would lose even more votes today.
3) Jordan only scored 199 votes yesterday after recording 200 votes on Tuesday.
House Speaker Pro Tempore Patrick McHenry (R-NC) is willing to give Jordan “as long as he needs” to round up the votes. Jordan insists he will keep plugging away.
4) But this is why there is increased conversation about empowering McHenry as an acting Speaker so the House can escape this parliamentary sclerosis and return to legislating.
5) This is a growing concern as the Middle Easr is afire and the government is staring at another shutdown in a less than a month.

I’ve taken thousands of votes during my time in Congress.
No roll call has been as clarifying as the one for Jim Jordan as Speaker.
Why isn’t his election easy here?
Because his leadership represents a credible threat to the unchecked growth of our bloated federal government.
