A very BIG VOTE in the GREAT STATE OF LOUISIANA for A.G. Jeff Landry, who will now become the Governor. Despite many people running, Jeff was easily able to get a majority, meaning that there will be NO RUNOFF. This is an amazing victory for a man who will be a truly GREAT GOVERNOR. NEW — Israel told civilians on Sunday that they couldn’t come within 2.5 miles of the Lebanese border, where clashes with Hezbollah forces are escalating. The Israeli military also told people within about a mile of the Lebanese border, which is dotted with a number of small rural towns and villages, to stay near shelters. (WSJ)

The absolute number one priority of the United States right now should be to protect American lives and avoid getting our nation involved in a disastrous conflict overseas. This should be so obvious and uncontroversial that it doesn’t even need to be said.

The press wants you to think the only story in Washington is a fight amongst Republicans. But over the past 10 days:
- The Democrat chair of the foreign affairs committee was charged with taking bribes from a foreign country
- The DC attorney general has sent subpoenas to Democrat dark money giant Arabella Advisors over possible illegal activity
- A House Democrat stalled a house proceeding by pulling a fire alarm, a felony.
- Biden’s envoy to Iran was outed as an Iranian spy
- Gavin Newsom appointed a Marylander to be California’s senator
- Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty to a felony gun charge
- Hunter was also caught listing his dad’s home address as the beneficiary on a wire transfer from Communist China.
- A Democrat House member was carjacked thanks to an explosion of predatory criminal behavior sparked by Democrats’ pro-crime policies.
Oh, and Joe Biden is still an utter disaster of a president, too.

Handsome boys! The rescue lady had a black cat get adopted yesterday. She said she normally doesn’t adopt out black cats in october, but a lady that she trusted said she wanted him so she brought him to the adoption event. I hope little Angus gets a good home. He really is the sweetest, he always runs up with his mom to the door. I can’t believe the people thought Mom was feral! She can’t get enough attention. The three moms were all like that, come to think of it. They were just scared and abandoned.
