I am so very, very, happy. Many of us received with sad acceptance the news of our dear Weston having to leave the Train. His has been the voice of calm, reason, and faith which has been an encouragement to look to our Saviour both in the wonderful Trump years and throughout this fiasco of the Unsteady’s rule. As Christians, we grieve sad news not because we have lost someone. Christians never truly lose each other. But death brings a separation for a time and a hollowness where our loved one’s presence has been.
A few hours ago, I expressed a desire to know what has happened since dear Weston left Free Republic. I had a little information, but that is not what brought me to this point.
The fact is, God prompted Weston to look in on the thread, just as God prompted me to inquire about Weston. Weston, you see, has my email address and HE CONTACTED ME WITH AN UPDATE. I am going to keep some details private. Nonetheless, the following is an except from Weston himself:
“When it feels in this world like nothing is happening and maybe God is asleep or something, remember me. God heard all the prayers for me and He answered! He’s still a God of miracles.
I’m going to stay away from social media for the most part. I did start to get back on Twitter and Truth Social. But I think it’s best for me to keep stress low. I’m able to work outside again and have a new appreciation for life. I’m also planning a trip to Israel (Lord willing) next spring
Please let everyone know I am alive and well. 😉”

Wonderful, wonderful news! I’m so glad dear weston is doing well, and he’s wise to avoid stress....even planning on a trip to the Holy Land! God bless him and thank you, dear weston, for listening to God’s promptings for you to contact Jem!
I’ll be sharing more details in a little bit. His is a story that must be told. At the time, my heart was just so full it was all I could do. As I began my search, I was girding my heart, preparing to hear bad news. When I read his email, I was laughing, crying, and feeling so, so much joy. I could not process it all.
When you hear a few more details, you will pause and give thanks to our Savior. I pray Weston’s story will encourage you to trust God more.

I have a tear in my eye rejoicing at our Lord’s goodness to him and to us.
Recently, I was just looking at his freepmail when he left us and re-reading it, I prayed for him, as it read worse than I remembered.
Please let him know we are so glad he is well.
