Video shows 5-year-old boy ringing doorbell, seeking help after let off at wrong bus stop in...

An Oklahoma mother says her 5-year-old son and her boyfriend's 5-year-old daughter were dropped off at the wrong bus stop and wandered around in 105-degree heat trying to get home.

10:10 PM · Aug 29, 2023

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mom Kelly Mulholland took to TikTok last week to explain the ordeal, and I feel like you need to at least watch the first few seconds of it just to hear the kid's voice on the Ring doorbell, so here you go:
"Would you help me find my mommy."
Now that's enough to make a grown man tear up a little. Not saying that's me, but hypothetically, you know, like someone might tear up.
This was these kids' first time on the bus, and I'll assume the driver's first day of the year as well, if not, his very first day.
So it sounds like the bus driver just completely biffed it here and let the kids off at the wrong stop. No excuses, he didn't check the tags on the kids' backpacks which would've told him it was the wrong stop; and he also dropped them off without a parent present (not to mention the fact that it was 105 degrees out). 100% on the driver here, and I'm not just saying that to make him look bad.
More from the story:
When she went to pick up her kids at the bus stop they were supposed to be dropped off, the bus was an hour late and the kids were nowhere to be found. Mulholland said it was an older kid on the bus - not the driver - who told her that her kids had been dropped off at a previous stop.
Mulholland said the bus driver could not tell her where he dropped off the kids and didn't know the name of the street.
Sounds like maybe I do want to be upset at the driver. However, I'm gonna skip that whole stance because it's played out.
Remember that Ring doorbell the kid was sobbing to?
She said she went back to her car to tell her boyfriend what was happening. At that moment, a car pulled up and asked her if she was looking for two kids, she said. The driver explained that he had gotten a notification from his Ring security camera that showed two kids asking for help.
Mulholland said she drove to the driver's house, but the kids were not there. They then enlisted the help of neighbors to find the children.
In the meantime, I kid you not, these two 5-year-olds — one, the son of Kelly, one, the daughter of her boyfriend — in 105-degree heat, took turns ringing doorbells throughout the neighborhood they'd been dropped off in. One stood watch at the sidewalk, while the other approached the given home.
They did this for about an hour in 105-degree heat.
AN HOUR!
Crazy that neither of them passed out, or worse.
The kids were eventually found "a few houses down" from the owner of the Ring doorbell footage and about half a mile from the bus stop where they were dropped off.
Man, can you imagine?
That'd be like the longest hug of my life.
When kids go missing it's not just about the 105-degree heat, or the fact that they're confused and lost. Your brain will play all sorts of tricks on you in these situations, putting your kids in the back seat of a trafficker's vehicle, or at the jaws of a pit bull. There's no telling what was going through these parents' minds.
I'm so glad they found them, and so glad that Ring doorbells exist.
Parents, please make a plan with your kids so they know what to do in situations like this. It's always someone else's kid until the one time that it's yours.
Here's part 2 of that TikTok video if you're interested.
}{€££$ bells, I’ve got a step-grandson that’s a product of public skroolz. He’s 20 years old and doesn’t drive because he got scared in Drivers Education Class when it was time to drive in public and quit (probably better that he doesn’t drive for everyone’s safety) so he’s getting rides to/from work about 2 miles away and he had to walk 1 time and he GOT LOST !!!
To drive there is go to the end of our street, turn left and go over I-77 and about a block on the right is the Food Lion Store he works at...
The kid is more useless than Lips on a Chicken.
When exactly did it happen that every child needed a government taxi-service to get to school?
When we stopped having mothers at home during the day.
It would be fun for all the male scolds on this Forum to blame feminism; however, economic forces were at work. The last year this nation had a majority rural population was 1939, also around the time that technologies such as mass electric grids and telephone systems accelerated opportunities for men to leave the backbreaking farm work and get jobs in cities, where their wives could no longer do their traditional farm wife chores and cottage industries to help support the family; and the payscales for women working from home in cities did not equate to their former family farm work.
During that era, something like 90% of the majority white population were married. Along came WW2, where women were needed to work in factories, enjoying better pay for doing so. Although married women returned to the home in large numbers during the aftermath of WW2 between 1945 - 1955, steadily advancing technology lured more and more families to "allow" married women to work outside the home. Eisenhower built the interstate road system. More kids left home to work or go to college, more adults commuted longer distances. Many families acquired more than one motor vehicle. Families permitted marriageable teen girls to find jobs, because they could help pay for car insurance. Teen dating with a car (i.e. a portable bedroom) became a thing.
During the postwar years when all U.S. soldiers had been supplied with and taught to use condoms as a health precaution , pharmaceutical companies started developing artificial birth control. The widespread use of contraceptives including by unmarried people (a 1972 Supreme Court decision) began eroding traditional marriage, and for the next three decades after WW2, one Supreme Court decision after another destroyed legal protections for traditional marriage, enabling cohabitation, abortion, single adoption and “no-fault” divorce; and in its place legal hedonism, parental irresponsibility, and a profitable divorce industry overran JudeoChristian norms. Today fewer and fewer homes even contain a married mother and father with their own biological children—less than 50% of American children grow up with both their natural parents, and greatly fewer with a stay-at-home parent or homeschooling.
That's it in a nutshell.
You asked.
Why wait at the bus stop? Who not pick the children up at school themselves?
These days, most families of young kids have two working parents; but the little kids get off school around 2:30 or 3:00. Many of the grandmothers are also sitll working so they can get full Social Security and a good pension at 65. It's a hard struggle, given the way people live these days. I lived and worked in a city during those years, where I could nip out to pick a kid up and be back at the desk in 1/2 hour after seeing them to a neighbor granny's rowhouse; but cities are about unliveable now, and suburban families have it very tough to find competent, trustworthy help.
Or there should be an aide riding the bus to keep tabs on the little ones (like age 5 thru 8); the driver can’t drive and do that too safely
Many schools used to have a parent volunteer, usually a mom or a grandparent, to do that; but now everyone tries to work as long as they can because of the increasing costs of living. And these days, it's a dangerous job:
'I'm done with this sh**!' Distressing moment Ohio school bus driver resigns 'after being tormented by bully students who triggered her asthma by spraying perfume'
Grandmother bullied to tears - school bus aide
Homestead mother pressing charges after third grade daughter beaten on school bus
Georgia teens storm school bus, attack elementary school kids
That’s a good summary.
I always look at things in terms of Austrian economics, and I would say also our debt-based economy, with a central-bank issued, fiat currency, that can be created at will to support almost unlimited government debt - was used to feed 10,000 progressive social-engineering programs, bloated government bureaucracy - including all aspects of public education.
Public school kids don’t have enough sense to know where they live?
Maybe they live in a planned town like Levittown, PA:
...or outside San Antonio, TX:
...Las Vegas...
Good point. And consumer credit cards weren’t a thing until the 1960s, either.
The couple who will install our security system attends the big trade fairs.
She told me they learned that technology for the Ring style systems is very scary. If you go to someone’s house that has the camera, Big Brother connects you with the residents at the house, harvests your biometrics for facial recognition, and your cell phone data (if you have it with you).
You could be the Avon Lady or Fuller Brush Man, and the residents could be on the sex watch list, drug dealers, etc. It doesn’t matter. You and they will be “together forever” as far as the government is concerned.
This disturbed these people so much they’re probably going to close the business. It’s just too much. (They’ll be fine. Have probably made a bazillion dollars over the years.)
“It would be fun for all the male scolds on this Forum to blame feminism; however, economic forces were at work.”
I’m not a male, and I blame the feminist movement 100%.
Before feminism, “economic forces” weren’t a big issue. Dad could afford to raise a family comfortably on his salary alone.
Women clamoring to join the work force and ditch the kids changed many dynamics. And not for the better. Employers were free to pay less. Men were free to be less responsible when it came to providing for their families.
Homeschoolers never have these problems.
````````````````````````````````

I drove a church school bus part time for a few years to help pay my kids tuition. My instructions were quite clear for those young children.

If there was no parent, guardian or a known responsible adult relative at the bus stop to meet them, bring them back to school. Then the parent(s) had to come to school and pick them up. Not even once did I ever see that happen.

In those circumstances, I understand completely. One of the reasons I opted to homeschool was that I had no car and the school offered no bus service before first grade.

But, in this story, bus service is provided for these 5yo children, yet one parent (or both?) was waiting with a car at the bus stop.

The article says the mother "went to pick up her kids at the bus stop," and when she found out the children were dropped off at another stop, "she went back to her car to tell her boyfriend what was happening." I don't know whether the boyfriend was in the car or she called him from her car. Whatever the case, she then "drove to" the house where the children were last seen on camera. So, she had a car, and she was able to wait at a bus stop for them.

You know I’m fond of ya, MM, but I truly disagree that the women are more to blame than men, or than all the other forces I laid out in my extensively researched post #42.

We know that fundamentally, The Deceiver is to blame; but both sexes thought they would benefit.

Eve may have eaten the apple, but the Supreme Judge put both Adam and Eve out of the garden.

While I agree that she did have a car, it could also be that she took off of work that day to see how things would go for the kids’ first day of school, but will have to go back to work. This is her first kid just barely of school age; she is inexperienced.

Many of the young women today never had a mother who was a “homemaker”, so they go along with whatever the neighbors are doing to shuffle their kids through “the system.” She quickly learned what can go wrong.

Kind of curious that he and the boyfriend’s daughter weren’t sticking close to each other, however.

Her second video explained that-- they protected each other by having one of them go ring a doorbell, and the other stand down by the sidewalk to keep a watch, and they alternated.

I read a bunch of the replies on her TikTok vid, and all of the replies here.

I was shocked, I tell ya, SHOCKED when not one single poster asked this question.

Why didn’t these kids know their address and mom’s or dad’s phone number? Around these parts, kids have to know that before entering even pre-school!

A lot of the replies to her suggested an air tag in the kids’ bookbags; which is a good idea.

But still, didn’t the parents have a duty to teach their kids the very basic info?? I think they did, but obviously, I’m among the very tiny minority.

I didn’t think that women are more to blame than men. I blame the feminist movement, which included both men and women.

They all got brainwashed and bought into it. Women were told they were supposed to be career women, and the “enlightened” men agreed.

In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled WATCH: These two kids were let off the school bus at the wrong house in 105-degree heat and luckily the house had a Ring doorbell, MayflowerMadam wrote:

I hadn't heard that about the biometrics, and I already thought it was surveillance tech! I recall posting an article to FR titled something like, "Why does Amazon's Alexa need to recognize my face in bedroom at night?" He discovered the camera on Alexa was designed to operate and recignize the user in the dark. Great....And if Alexa is equipped with facial recognition software, then you have a CCP style camera in your house, in your bedroom. Blackmail opportunities abound. Hunter Biden should really avoid getting an Alexa or basically anything from AMazon branded electronics.

AMazon is king of home invasion tech - I don't know if they still have them but there was an electronic 'button' for specific products (Tide laundry detergent) designed for the Amazon customer to purchase and put in the location where the product was used (Tide button in the laundry room). They had buttons configured and labeled for  many differnt products. When you run low on detergent, you just press that 'Tide' button to trigger your predefined Amazon order to ship more detergent. I think they are also WiFi listening devices that you were supposed to buy and place around the  house.

Security cameras are popping up in stores now that look like different technology. As you walk in the doors you're greeted an overhead view of yourself on a new flat screenmonitor with a notice about 'security' cameras. Yes - for walking into a store. I believe it is the technology we've seen demos of facial recognition software - in the demos a code next to each person in a crowd is super imposed on the image and whatever the true name of that code turns out to be - it's like intended to be the Social Credit score. I hear Walmart is getting them in some locations adorned with a flashing light and an advisor posted on it notifying the public of the surveillance. I think it would recquire complant national boycotts to block this.

Yesterday when I went to the bank, it looked like new technology had been added to the ATM in the drive through. One I went to had a new strip of mirrored glass in a 5 inch band across  top. I think the mirror surface was to reflect the sunlight that faces it at sunset (too much exposure). But you could see something electronic behind the glass as it was not 100% opaque. I suspect that's likely another facial recognition camera. Probably all banks will be required to have them for security. Reminds me of the bible verse about not buying or selling without the mark..

They are talking about gearing up for Covid now but I believe, it could be a placeholder vaccine harm patients who would be used to falsely portray a 'new, unidentified, contagion (an immune system based Plandemic). It would be more convincing because some of the most strongly vaxxed or immune system suppressed suppressed, really would infect each other more readily than normal. Saying they are gearing up for 'Covid' lets them gear up for the most heavily vaxxed areas to contend with increased illnesses and hospitaliztions, even as we say we won't do Covid lockdown again.  They trotted out Anthony Fauci to tell us lockdowns are coming back - I guess they figured he's already universally hated so they had nothing to lose (no need to break in a new Medical Regime liar).

So if these are facial recognition cameras I think I'm seeing, they would be able to link vaccination status with someone enterring a store, going to the drive through etc. when they are supposed to be locked down. That would help them drive more to get the vax just to function and give them an excuse to treat unvaxxed more harshly, in addition to tracking pretty much anywhere we go and those whom we associate with.

It's good to remind ourselves and each other that God Wins, especially now when the Deep State psyop pours bad news on us around the clock. The spiritual armour many of us put on includes defense against those who battle for our time, our attention and our minds.

God Wins. I would not want to be among the Deep Staters who think they can face His wrath and win. These people are stupid.

Prayers up! Father in Heaven, please guard our minds in this psyop and sterngthen our discernment and help us choose our battles wisely as the fog of war thickens.

Maybe so, but if she usually works at that time, who’s supposed to meet the children at the bus stop the rest of the year? If she works, she might work night shift. When my children were little, I worked nights, as did many other moms I knew, so that I could be home during the day. This woman might not work daytime hours.
