The fire began as a small grass fire and then spread to a pile of mulch, igniting several other large mounds of mulch. Firefighters worked to stop the flames from spreading to a warehouse on the property. No homes or businesses are in danger, and there have been no reported injuries. However, firefighters are facing challenges due to the extreme heat. Arson investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire. Crews will continue fighting the fire overnight.
