We just had to call out an exterminator to get rid of those little ant creatures, they swarmed under the roof and broke through in our living room.
One minute they weren’t there the next minute streaming down the wall.
Hubby grabbed the vacuum cleaner with the attachment and sucked them all up. Then he got out chalking and sealed up little hole.
The exterminator treated the outside of the house, the ants will take the stuff, whatever it was, back to their nest and it will eventually kill them all.
We call them......
Pissant

We’re’ at the tail end of the ‘bugnado that hit our home.
The best product I’ve found to get rid of ants is diatomaceous earth. Get the food grade. Sprinkle it over the area where the ants are. The sharp ground up seashells destroy the ants’ body shell. They also carry it back to their nest and spread it over all the other ants.
We had ants under our flat top stove. I flushed them out with Windex, but what really got rid of them was a Pure steam cleaner.
We had such a great time visiting with my nephew and his wife today. He’s going to be 42 at the end of the month.
So, he says Mexico is fantastic (I can’t remember if it was you who asked lol). He says health insurance is cheap, and the hospitals are clean and modern and you are treated very well. He has zero regrets about leaving Canada, and would never come back to live. He was telling us if they live 6 months in one country and six months in another, you have to pay zero taxes in either country. So, they’re going to stay in Mexico for six months, but leave for the six hot, hot months.
They have to play a game of “pick the other country” now, so they’re heading over to Europe to go through numerous countries to pick one. Nice gig, if you can get it lol. He’s a heck of a nice guy, politically astute (not just because he agrees with me lol) and has done very well.
They were at my son’s today. My son used to think Dave had it made in the shade, but Mike is now looking at things differently. Yes, Dave has bags of money and has a great time at the beach and dining out, etc., but Mike REALLY loves his little girl. He loves being a dad. I heard him say to Dave today that his mom was right.....once you have a child, you know the meaning of love, and it changes everything.
So, we had a nice little spread of finger foods, and a glass of wine. Hahahaha it was boxed wine. Dave called it Cardbordeaux. So funny.

If we were 20 years younger, I’d be badgering hubby to move.
Our Aussie kids want to someday make Vancouver, BC their permanent home.
They may change their mind when you go full blown commie.
But Australia is getting there too.

I stopped buying Tyson when they went whole hog chicken for Clintoon.
Guess it's time to get chickens for the backyard.

I buy that combination at my local grocery store as a side dish. There are no maraschino’s and I don’t think coconut either. At least I can’t say I have tasted coconut in it.
