And his family!
Sorry, I didn’t waste my time watching the Biden Inauguration.
All is fair in love and woo hoos!
*evil grin*
Yeah, back in the days when you could really think that the Bad Guys were mostly on the radio and always got caught by the Good Guys....
Living near Chicago, it sure didn't take long for me to get wise to that fairy tale and know that there weren't that many Good Guys and the Bad Guys not only didn't get caught but got rich on the deal and laughed out loud about it.
'Nam just validated the point for some of us.
Seems to have taken nearly ****canning the entire country to get the word to others out there.
Sorry....I’ve slept a few winks since that scam “inaugural”.
Maybe someone archived it, on Rumble?
Bream is swampy.
thought it was kinda early to go after 2000
Prayers it happens.
I recall one time getting in a fight when I was about 10 years old. At that time my family was living in Kennewick, WA which is just across the river from Pasco, where I live now. Up untill the 60’s Kennewick was called a Sundown City meaning the blacks had to be out of there by Sundown. In Pasco they had to live on the East Side of town. So one day when I was out playing on the sidewalk this black girl comes up and starts beating the heck out of me. I was trying to fed her off and asked her, “What did I EVER do to you”? She finally stopped hitting on me. I guess she thought it was MY FAULT she couldn’t be there after sundown. Then we moved to Pasco and she was in my class. I was afraid she might remember me but she didn’t and ALL WAS GOOD.
One wouldn’t have thought there would have been so much prejudice here in these far Northern towns. One has to recall though that here is where they were building the nuclear bomb, and they were bringing in a LOT of people from the SOUTH to work out at HANFORD where they were building it. They brought their predjudice’s with them.
One other fight I had was when I was 12-13 yrs. old with my Step-father. My mother and I each had a dish of ice-cream during the day, so when dinner time came he said I couldn’t have any. I said that isn’t fair and then my mother offered me hers. I said No! we should just divide what was left between all of us. My step-father decided I was going to eat hers and he started shoving it in my mouth. I spit it back out. He then got an extension cord and started hitting me with it and each time he hit me, I would swing around and hit him with my fist. I ended up with bruise’s and welts all over my back and legs. My mother was always passive in what was happening.
I too went from school to school moving around all the time and also being sent to different homes to live. So I NEVER had any close friends in school.
Even though I didn’t actually graduate (got my GED) when the Pasco High 50th reunion came I went to it. Pasco High is where most of the people I remember was. I just got an invitation to our 65th reunion. I haven’t decided yet if I am going or not. The person who heads it up also sent pictures of all those who have passed on. A lot of the REAL POPULAR are no longer here.
I know because of the childhood I had, I hardened my heart so I wouldn’t get hurt anymore. It is very difficult for me to show or feel a lot of emotion.
Thanks for the report! You watched it so we wouldn’t have to!
The last one was the winning post so that doesn’t count.
me either!
Those stories should be published

Miscommunication ensues as three scouts fail to make their way through enemy lines with vital information. The cost in patriot lives is severe. Meanwhile in one of the Revolution’s most brutal battles, Indian tribes align with the warring parties and against each other.

New Yorkers fight at the Battle of Oriskany
On this day in history, August 6, 1777, New Yorkers fight at the Battle of Oriskany, one of the bloodiest battles of the American Revolution. In the summer of 1777, British General John Burgoyne invaded New York from Canada. His first goal was to reach Albany, then to take control of the Hudson River valley, in order to separate New England from the rest of the colonies.
British Lieutenant Colonel Barry St. Leger commanded 800 British soldiers in western New York. He was ordered to march east to join Burgoyne’s campaign. St. Leger’s route was to march down the Mohawk River valley toward Albany, but he had to pass Fort Stanwix (or Fort Schuyler as the patriots called it) at present day Rome, on the way. St. Leger’s troops, along with 800 Indians laid siege to Fort Stanwix beginning on August 2.
Meanwhile, Brigadier General Nicholas Herkimer of the Tryon County militia learned of the siege and ordered the militia to gather at Fort Dayton, 28 miles east of Fort Stanwix. Herkimer marched with about 740 militia and 100 Oneida Indians who allied with the patriots.
On August 5, St. Leger received word that the militia was coming. He sent out 450 men, mostly Seneca and Mohawk Indians to stop them. Herkimer sent out scouts to Colonel Peter Gansevoort at the fort with a plan for Herkimer’s men to attack the British when Gansevoort signaled with 3 cannon shots. Gansevoort was then to make a sortie out of the fort as a distraction. Unfortunately, the scouts could not get through the British lines until after the battle began the next day.
On the morning of August 6th, Herkimer sat waiting for the cannon signal. When it didn’t come, his subordinates pressed him to attack anyway, even accusing him of being a Tory for not attacking. Herkimer finally ordered the attack, but as they marched through a deep ravine, they were ambushed from the sides by the Indians. The militia scattered and the Indians attacked with tomahawks. Hundreds were killed or wounded on both sides. General Herkimer was shot in the leg early on.
In the afternoon, a thunderstorm allowed Herkimer’s men to regroup on the edge of the ravine. Herkimer sat wounded under a tree, smoking a pipe and issuing orders. The scouts finally reached the fort and Colonel Gansevoort sent out a sortie that raided the Indian encampments, stealing their supplies. When word reached the Indians, they abandoned the attack on Herkimer, who gathered his men and retreated back to Fort Dayton.
The Battle of Oriskany was one of the bloodiest of the war. 385 patriots were killed, with another 50 wounded and 30 captured, more than half of Herkimer’s force. 15% of the British and Indian attackers were killed and injured as well. Nicholas Herkimer died from his wounds a few weeks later after an unsuccessful leg amputation.
The Battle of Oriskany marked the beginning of the Iroquois civil war between the Oneida and Tuscarora tribes, who were loyal to the patriots, and the other four tribes of the Iroquois Confederacy, the Mohawk, Seneca, Cayuga and Onondaga. The Siege of Fort Stanwix came to an end on August 22 when Benedict Arnold, who was still loyal to the Americans at this time, approached with a large army, forcing St. Leger back to the west.
