Ohhhh those sound good. I’ll have to try one if any of the squash survive the great garden flood/hail of 2024.
Today making potato salad, fresh corn-on-the-cob, garlic bread, barbequed kasslers (smoked pork loin chops), peach cobbler with vanilla ice-cream.
Kids and grands all coming over.....mostly for the potato salad lol. Made with potato, egg, crispy bacon pieces, diced sour dill pickles, spring onion, parsley, mayo, salt, pepper. Summertime favorite.
Gee, summer more over than not :(

My goodness, people are so angry and violent these days. Everywhere I look, people are attacking each other - I have never seen anything like it before.
Need to get back to those good old-fashioned values. Dads needed desperately, back in the home, providing, protecting and disciplining (in the Godly way).

Sometimes I really get frustrated that good people, like you guys and your families, have struggles and hardship, and it often appears that the actual horrible and evil-doers in this world just carry on their merry way.
I know reckoning will come one day. It’s just so hard to endure the wait.
